Who’s the Real Blue Stickman?
I have another contest here in my blog. But this time, it’s unique. It’s not like any other blog contest in the internet wherein you will link me and that’s one point for you, or rank for a certain keyword in Google, Yahoo and MSN and when you rank 1st, you are the winner, or write about this and that… then if you have the best entry you win, or be the last to comment then you’ll get a prize etc., etc.. This contest is distinct from other blog contests that you encountered in the blog sphere!
Ok so much for the chit chats, let’s go to the mechanics of this awesome contest! Yay!
This will be a competition of wits and intelligence. All you need to do is answer the very simple puzzle below. There are 8 blue stickmans in the picture, but there’s one from the 8 who has a distinguishable difference compared to the other seven. These 8 are related from each other, you should mention how they are related from each other. All you need to do is find out what’s dissimilar from the unique blue stickman compared to the other blue stickmans. There’s only 1 valid answer. Once you have posted your answer in the comments below, then it’s considered final.

3. You can answer more than once but only your first answer will be considered valid
4. Your answer should follow the format below, otherwise it’s considered invalid:

yung numbers 1-8, ginawa kong numerator
yung total number of shapes ginawa kong denominator
lahat sila mas malaki ang denominator kesa numerator, except number 8. which is 8/7.
8/7 is more than 1, meaning complete unlike the other blue stickmen, which is less than 1, parang di kumpleto, or fake hehe

my answer is 4 because it’s the only one with a composite number (15). Its factors are 3 and 5. The other 7 stick men have prime numbers as the number of dots.

I just want to say that I do like the contest because it’s different. I did find some other contests at http://www.linktogether.com in the Challenges section, which seem to be more development related, but they have a new feel to them. Not your big, get-a-team-together type contests, but solutions one could put together in an afternoon of careful thought. Check it out!

EXPLANATION: Kinuha ko lang yung absolute value ng difference ng kada bilang na nandun sa blue stickman, from blue stickman number 1 to blue stickman number 8. Tapos absolute value uli ng difference ng nakuha kong mga number galing sa mga blue stickman, tapos uulitin ng uulitin hanggang sa makakuha ng nag-iisang number. At yun nga ay number 6!

Ang sagot ko ay number 7 dahil 23 ang bilang ng mga hugis na nasa loob ng “bluestickman”..at ang bluestickman ay related sa author na sa tingin ko sa kanyang itsura sa “about me” ay halos 23 y/o din katulad ko..at ang bluestickman number7 lang ang bluestickman na diamond ang shape sa loob, at ang author ay malapit din sa “diamond” na katumbas ay “richness” dahil sa pagbblog, kaya tingin ko, mas “real” na bluestickman c number 7..hahahaha
kahit ako nakokornihan at nabababawan sa paliwanag ko, pero ito ang pagkakaintindi ko sa simpleng paraan..hehehe

First, sabi sa TIP, the random white shapes printed on the each of them should not be considered as a factor to distinguish one from the rest. Take note, SHOULD NOT. So definitely, walang kinalaman yung shapes.
Second, sabi sa TIP, learn how to count. Counting each number of white shapes, the total counts are the following: 5, 3, 11, 15, 13, 17, 23, 7
Third, sabi sa TIP, be a keen observer. Sa tingin ko number 3 ang odd one out because it has 11 white shapes. Why?
Look at the numbers again:
5 = 5
5+ 10 = 15
3=3
3+10 = 13
13+10 = 23
7=7
7+10 = 17
11 = ?
In other words, each number can be produced by adding or subtracting 10 from it. When you add 10 or subtract 20 from 11, it will become 1 or 21 in which case both are not included in the sequence.
