UPDATE 01/31/10: The November 2009 Nursing Board Exam Results, also known as the November 2009 Nursing Licensure Examination Results will be released anytime this month or next month. That’s what I heard, but I’m not pretty sure of it. I’ll be updating this blog post if the board exam results has been released. You can also subscribe to the most reliable exam exam results website, PRC Board Exam Results, to be updated on the latest exam results in the Philippines.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 28,924 out of 67,728 passed the Nurse (First Timers, Repeaters, Removals and Voluntary Retakers of all subjects) Licensure Examination given by the Board of Nursing in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga last December 2007. Ten (10) out of the 14 Retakers as per C.A. Decision passed and 729 out of the 1,132 Special Certification Retakers for C.G.F.N.S. passed the examination.

Warm greetings from the Board of Nursing.
Last June 1 and 2, 2008 the Board of Nursing again was able to successfully satisfy another NLE event in the National Capital Region ang in various other parts of the country with the administrative supervision of the Professional Regulation Commission.
We are writing to formally inform those on the ground that –
(1) The Oathtaking schedules are being worked out for implementation:
August 19 and 20, SMX Convention Center will be the Oathtaking Ceremonies in Manila. And the following assignments have so far been made:

The BoN awaits those who have not yet submitted their Dates of Oathtaking. For Areas where no BoN has been assigned kindly advise the BoN through the undersigned ASAP if you will be the one to request or the BoN will assign whom to send.
(2) The BoN will prepare a “Generic” Souvenir Program which shall also be applicable for Regional Oathtaking Ceremonies. Kindly send your reservations on or before July 31, 2008. The souvenir program cost shall be Php 125.00 each. Kindly specify as well the Colleges covered by your Area Oathtaking for “complimentary souvenir programs”. We will likewise provide the same to the PRC Regional Offices, CHED Regional Offices and DOLE Regional Offices so kindly specify if for inclusion. Freight cost shall be borne by the oathtaking host organizer.
(3) For purposes of better synchronicity and organization we advise all our oathtaking host-partners to keep communications open through the undersigned Oathtaking Chair for this season through the following:
– Telephone/Fax through our PRC Central Office at P. Paredes St., Sampaloc, Manila (as shown above);
– The BoN website: http://www.bonphilippines.org
We wish to have a good documentation as well of all oathtaking ceremonies conducted nationwide hence the need for our host-partners to submit documentation reports in the form of:
(1) Clean/clear copy of your Oathtaking Program
(2) Pictorials (only the significant parts of the program)
This may be sent via “hard copy” or better yet via electronic copy through e-mail.

MANILA, Philippines — False text messages about the results of the June 2008 licensure exams for nursing have been flying about and the Board of Nursing has issued an advisory saying that there’s no truth to them.
BoN member Marco Sto. Tomas told INQUIRER.net Tuesday that the two kinds of text messages indicated that 69 percent of the 65,000 or so who took the exam in June passed, and that the same percentage failed.
The text messages also alleged that the BoN had asked President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo to delay the release of the results so that those who failed won’t be able to make it to the filing of applications for the December 2008 exams.
“Walang katotohanan [No truth to them]. That’s revenue [the application fees], so why would we want to do that?” Sto. Tomas said.
“To the nursing public and stakeholders, do not succumb to these ‘irresponsible text messages,’” he added.
He said the results of the June 2008 board exam “may” come out on the last week of July.
“Please be advised that with God’s grace and based on new schedules from the PRC [Professional Regulation Commission], our NLE [Nursing Licensure Examination] results may be released within the last week of July,” Sto. Tomas said.
He also advised the examinees and their parents, relatives, and friends to believe only official releases from BoN website, or leading news outfits.

mas matagal ba ang release ng result kapag november or december kaysa pag june board? late feb or early march grabe katagal naman nun 4 MONTHS!!! naproprolong lang agony namin.. bulok talaga sa pilipinas kupad kumilos.. araw araw ko tumitingin sa mga site iba iba cnasbi merun dec, jan, feb, mar… ano ba talaga papaniwalaan ko…

last june 2008, more than 67,000 took the nle and it took 35 days for the results… but now i think there is more than 90,000 who took the exam so i guess if you compute the days it will take for the result..that would be in less than 50 – 60 days or in JANUARY definitely…its gonna be a brand new year for all of us…god bless!

i took the nov. 2008 board exam .. i really pray hard and i did work hard for dis.. i hope madaming pumasa ngayon.. lalo na me.. huhuhuh… pls. ilabas nyo na po ung result.. ang hirap dalhin.. graveh.. pls. sana po wag dugain ang result sa dami po kasing nag take no doubt baka my dugaan sa result.. iff lahat po kami nakapasa soo be it!!

Guys, parang may result na., IT prof help nyo nman kami oh.., basic lang alam ko sa IT department pero parang napansin ko na inaayos n nila yong mga result. Try nyo iaccess yong web site ng PRC dun sa result pansinin nyo ngeerorr dun lang sa link ng “Exam Results”.html ?.. IT prof. wait ko opinion nyo..(kasi kasama ako sa mga kinakabahan) :cool:

wow.. ta2galan ng nakapasa at 30 to 35 % lng ang ku2nin?? ala nga cla awa pag gnun ang ga2win..kng ayw nila my magtrabaho sa pinas..hayaan nila na makahanap mga ibang pinoy s ibang bansa.. unfair tlga pag gnun di ba? 22o ba un? n madami nkapasa pero 30-35% lng ku2nin?? huh..grabeh nman..tagal2 n nga tau pinag antay e…

dpat ndi pinagtetake ng board exam ang mga PT grad kc 5 yrs na cla nag-aral sa skul at magvovolunteer pa pagkatapos, ndi nman magwowork d2 dahil wala nman PT job d2 sa pinas karamihan nman ay sa call center ang bagsak…kawawa nman ang mga PT grad d2 sa pinas..

NOVEMBER 2008 NURSING RESULTS
sana PO walang DAYAAN ang mangyari kasi may sabi sabi na nagkakapalitan daw ng grades sa pag record ng grades sa nursing.. may BAYARAN daw kasi nangyayari sa loob ng PRC para mapalitan ng GRADES. yung iba kasi kinabisado ang SERIAL NUMBER. tapos papabago nila sa binayaran nila sa loob ng PRC. and may nag sabi kasi na estudyante na nagtake hinihingan sya ng pera para maipabago ang grades.
sayang naman yung lumaban ng parehas. sana po tulungan nyo kami dahil baka ang grades namin ang mapalitan nito. ayos po sa nursing law 9173 pwede daw magparecheck na papers sa nursing pero hindi nila ito pinapatupad kaya natatakot kami.
at meron parin po talagang leakage na kumakalat until now, kahit last december 2006 meron parin po. yung dean ng lyceum LEONOR REYES may ari po sya ng eastwest review center, TATLO PONG BOARD OF NURSING MEMBER ang kaibigan nya at ayung tatlo po ay lecturer nya DATI sa review center nya. KAYA PO ang LYCEUM students sa intramuros eh palaging mataas or perfect ang RATING kasi po nagbibigay yung former lecturer nya ng tips kung saan sila kukuha ng questions na BOOK, at ayun ang ipapaaral nila sa lyceum students gaya ng nangyari nung decmber 2006.
ganito po yan, sasabihin ng tatlong BON kay leonora reyes (dean ng lyceum, at mayari ng eastwest review center) kung saan silang book kukuha ng tanong na para sa board exams.. sa merge din po meron leakage. at maging sa ibat ibat review center. magaling magtago ang eastwest ng leakage, hindi nila binibigay sa mga june takers ang leakage nila. december lang. pero kung magiimbestiga kayo sa mga lyceum GRADUATE totoo merong leakage as in!
mukhang mahirap masolusyunan ang mga ganitong LEAKAGE, kasi may mga kamag anak lahat yan at mga kaibigan sila ng mga may ari ng review center at dean. tulad ng LYCEUM.
para po maniwala subukan po ninyo alamin kung yung tatlong BON ngayon ay naging lecturer ng eastwest review center sa recto.
SINA PERLA PO at yung dalawa ay hindi ko kilala. at si LEONORA REYES po ay madaming kapit sa BON.
sana lang maging STYLE NCLEX nalang ang LOCAL board COMPUTERIZED para walang dayaan at mas competent ang mga nurse!
SANA BIGYAN ninyo ITO NG PANSIN. UNFAIR UNFAIR UNFAIR naman po kasi sa mga nagaaral at walang pang review center!

November 2008 Board exam results BULLETIN : BON NOT YET OUT OF QUARANTINE
The board of nursing is still ON QUARANTINE.
It means that the result will go beyond the TARGET DATE of 10 Days.
Reliable sources from inside the PRC says that the release of the result will probably on the weekend of February 20, 21 or 22 but no confirmation whatsoever has been made by the BON since they are still on quarantine. Theoretically, 21 or 22 are good dates for the release fo the result but don’t get your hopes up since there is still no CONFIRMATION from the BON.
The result will be immediately release within 3 days after the BON emerges from the Quarantine, from the time being, since they are still on quarantine expect that no results will be release TODAY or TOMORROW.
Longer than usual quarantine is usually due to long deliberations, recalculations, recomputation and technicalities associated with formulating the exact passing rate.

MANILA — All is quiet around the premises of the Professional Regulation Commission as officials are quarantined at the third floor of the PRC building.
Bulletin boards are clear of postings except for the old list of locations where applicants can take their nursing licensure board exams.
Guards are posted in entrances and deny entry to anyone. When asked if media can enter, the guards said not even they are allowed to go upstairs.
“It’s strictly quarantined,” one guard said in Filipino.
But in the coming hours tens of thousands anxious would-be nurses will flood the PRC building and even the commission’s official website to await for the results of the exam.
Thousands of them will find work abroad while some will work for local medical institutions.
Statistics until 2007 from the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration showed that between 8,000 and 13,000 nurses work abroad each year since 2000.

hehe wag na kayong magpatutsadahan pa, halata tuloy hindi lahat nagka-diploma eh educated! sa tutuo lang sa mechanical eng’g 5 kang bubugbugin sa terror mong prof at sasaksakin ang utak mo ng mga di mabilang na formulas hanggang sa panaginip dala mo tapos halos di pa makagraduate ang iba..hahay 5% lang papasa sa out of 1000 sa board exam! ayun mautak ang iba nagproceed ng nursing pumasa hehe!

sana papasarin lahat ng RN in every exam, para lahat din mag-abroad para to keep our peso strong against dollar yung babalik sa php26/$ by your remittance..atleast sadinas at bigas maging cheap na. kasi instead na magsisigaw na walang ginawa ang gobyerno para sa mahirap ito ang sigaw nyo viva caballerong RN, nakahelp kami sa philippines!

In any event – try to plan 1 character meal (I prefer the breakfast). Then I would budget 20/day for adult and 10/day for kids esp if you have some fruit, nibblers, cereal to munch on later on if you are light eaters. If you prefer fancier fare – you will probably end up with 40/per adult and 20/kid. Which I really think is way to much but – people like different things.

your exam,, was so boring,, i always get the 1st place as well as my fellow couzins and friends,, can you make youre exam a little bit difficult,,??? thats the way the nurses are being measured on how they did well during their school years because some of the students just passed because they paid for their mentor,,, dont deny the fact… reallity prevails to those who decieves someone in a good phrase.,

December 1967, i took NLE for the first time and successfully passed with 86.4%. List of TOP TEN Board Passers were not printed in newspapers but list of passers sent to our school bore my full name in capital letters and the Dean’s secretary told me that i got a place in the Top Ten. No recognitions were accorded to us even in the oath taking. Curious to know my place in the list i inquired at PRC about my standing when i applied for my Board Certificate and was told that I got 6th place. How can i obtain a copy of the TOP Ten list of that time? Thanks & best regards.
