An Open Letter to the Snatcher at LRT Gil Puyat Station
I thought Filipinos are now united and truly care for each other after Bagyong Undoy (Undoy Storm), but I was wrong. Where I’m from, everyone’s not really a hero.
I was so confident and felt like I was still in Singapore, and maybe that’s why I ceased to have my beloved wallet now because I didn’t mind about the impending monster that will swallow my wallet into oblivion.
I really blame myself for being so negligent while entering the train inside Gil Puyat LRT station last week.
Still, I am hoping that this cunning snatcher will, by any chance, Google my name and read this blog post.
If you’re the one who took my wallet away from me, I hope that you’ll have a kind heart to return my SSS ID and my Brothers Burger stamp card because I only need 2 more stamps to get my free Brothers Pounder.
I know you don’t need my SSS ID, so please if you’re reading this, return it to me and I’m willing to give you $1,000.00 USD in cold cash! It took me 6 months before to get my SSS ID that’s why I just want to give a ransom and take my SSS ID from you, dear snatcher.
Regarding my Credit Cards and ATM cards, my bank already replaced them and deactivated the cards that you’ve stolen. So what I need now is only my SSS ID because it will take me months or years to get a new one.

Punta ka na lang sa SSS, sabihin mo sa nag-pro-process ng ID, bibigyan mo sha ng $500 kung maayos niya SSS ID mo ng same day.

Tama si sir Fitz, bigay mo nalang sa mag-aayos ng SSS mo ‘yong half. Huwag mo ng asahan si mandu, nde na magpakita sa’yo at malamang nasa basurahan na ang wallet mo.
Nakakapanghinayang talaga ung Brothers Burger na stamp card, isipin mo 2 stamps na lang free Brothers Pounders na! :grin:
Kaya sa susunod maghire ka na ng private guard mo kse marami ng nakakakilala sa’yo… at alam na rin nila na marami ka ng pera…

Why you need the SSS id. Pasensya na sa tanong ko kasi ang isang purpose lang ng sss id para sa aking ay ang mag loan.If you have 1,000 USD for a ransom I think to wait for 6 months is still ok.

Tama ka po sa singapore kasi walang ganyan. And paglapag na pag lapag ng eroplano pagkagaling ko ng singapore binalik ko na din ang state of mind ko na..
May mga mandurukot at masasamang loob. Anyway, minsan sir tinatapon nila yung mga wallet with all the cards attached. I once have my wallet pickpocket too in laguna then somebody send me a snailmail that she have my wallet together with the SSS ID and driver’s license. I hope someone will have your wallet return.

Kung valid ID lang ang kailangan mo ay mayroon namang Postal ID to use for the same purpose. Ako Postal ID lang ang mayroon ako.

mali pala ako..nag snail mail sya na nasa kanya yung wallet ko..wala kasing contact details dun sa mga IDs na nandun. I got my wallet pa sa alabang…imagine from laguna ako nag wowork that time tapos sa alabang tinapon yung wallet ko.. I hope you recover your wallet

hopeless na ako sa wallet. baka binenta nya na yung wallet ko. May kamahalan din yun kaya sayang din. Pero yung habol ko nalang now is yung SSS ID at yung Brothers Burger na stamp card, kasi malapit ko na ma kumpleto yun. wahehehe.

noong mahold-up bus na sinakyan ko dyan sa batasan, nakuha din ang wallet ko kasama ang TESDA certification, SSS ID at iba ko pang mga ID. Hanggang ngayon di pa rin ako nakakuha ng replacement ng dalwang nabanggit’

Naku.. dapat talaga be aware lalo na sa LRT madami talaga nadudukutan jan araw2.. kaya nga laging may paalala ung operator kada station.. sana ma concensya yang mandurukot at ibalik khit yung SSS ID mo nalang.. Report mo sa SSS at magpa Police Report ka na nawala SSS ID mo baka gamitin sa masama ma damay ka pa.. :sad:

I was also a victim before, wallet din at sa cubao nangyari, hindi yung pera ang mahalaga duon eh, meron pang mas importanteng bagay like yung mga valid ID’s na SSS, drivers licence, ATM card.
we need to have extra care espcly ngayon nalalapit na naman ang kapaskuhan, maraming namamasko sa masamang paraan, sa pandurukot, holdap ang kung ano ano pang modus operandi ng mga kawatan.

Friend, buti ang virginity mo wala sa wallet o baggage mo no? Ahehehe. Perhaps you need a Girl Friday or bodyguard to take care of things for you? For example, you need someone to handle cash for you – kasi nga madumi ang pera, di ba? O sya na rin maghandle ng plastic money mo. Puede mag apply.
Natawa ako sa reasons mo why you need your wallet back. The SSS ID I can understand. Pero di ko mapigil mapahalpak ng tawa dun sa Brothers Burger stamp card. Ano ba. Ahehehe.

Marami na talagang mapagsamantala ngayon dahil malapit na pasko. Nangyari din sa’kin yan two years ago, nakuha din SSS ID ko pati pera, ayun hindi na binalik kahit ID, aanuhin kaya niya yun. Actually kahit hindi magpapasko marami talagang snatcher dyan sa LRT.

sobrang laking halaga ng kapalit, dapat dun isetup na lang para mabawasan din ang mga kriminal sa bansa natin..
or hanap ka na lang din ng kakilala sa SSS para hindi ka na gagastos ng $1K para sa kriminal, palakad ka na lang ng bago sa kakilala kahit magbayad at least tipid pa! hehehe

Ingat palagi Jehz! Where did you put your wallet? In my case, I don’t put my wallet in my back pocket. Laging nasa harap and most of the time, nilalagay ko kamay ko sa bulsa ko when I’m riding MRT or LRT lalo na pag siksikan.
Yeah, I agree with the SSS ID card. It also took me months just to get it. I know how important SSS ID is for you as a jonb slacker.

Sad news naman! Ingat lagi Jehz.
Lets hope and pray na me mag-magandang loob na magbalik yang SSS ID mo sa mga awtoridad. Yung kapatid ko naiwan nya wallet/card holder nya sa taxi, pero good thing me nakapulot at ibinigay sa GMA7, tapos me tumawag na taga-GMA-7 na kumontak sa kanya after 1~2 weeks.

Sad to know your story. Na-experience ko rin yan. Dalawang beses pa. Yung una, pentax camera na isyu ng company for our magazine. I will not forget it happened at the Kilometer Zero at the Luneta Park. At ang pangalawa sa Pier 15. I lost my leather wallet together with my company ID, Medicard ID and the most important, my family’s photograph and the pics of my wife when I was still courting her.

The last time I went to SSS, they said it’s going to take a while for me to get my ID because the machine broke down and they are still printing the 2006 ID’s :roll: Well, it’s Christmas soon, probably working hard in time for the Noche Buena.

That’s a sad one jehz. I know the feeling kasi na-snatch na rin wallet ko before. Luckily, di ko nilalagay sa wallet ko ung mga importanteng ID ko like SSS ID, voter’s ID, etc. Mas safe kasi kung iiwan na lang sa haus for safe keeping. Saka ko lang sila dinadala pag kailangan.
Just an advise, bro. A $1000.00 is a lot to offer online. Baka maging favorite target ka ng mga “not so good guys” pag lumalabas ka.
File ka na lang ng replacement sa SSS. Medyo matagal ang process pero sure naman diba.

Yep yep nag babakasakali lang ako baka mabasa at mabalik agad ng snatcher. yun lang. hehehe. pero malabo na ata. woooooot! mag papa tulong nalang ako sa mga kakilala ko para mas mabilis. I think aabutin ng 1 to 2 years ang bagong SSS ID ko kasi sira pa machine ng SSS now. *sigh*

Kumuha ako agad ng cedula, brgy clearance and then postal ID.
P350 lang ung postal ID and same day mo makukuha. It’s as effective as any government issued ID :D. Mas safe sya dalin kesa passport din haha

jehz out of topic, pahingi advice. di n naiindex mga new posts ko (khit search ko mismo url wala sila) pero yung dati ng totop p rin. khapon lang ngyari. pati yung ads ko nawala sa niche ng site ko. yun lng naman text links. is it because (ginawa ko to lhat khapon)
1. ngpalit ako template? (binalik ko n ngaun)
2. may di sinasadya natagong text link? (kenelangan ko ung script para sa random post link, pero tinago ko sa div width=0)
3. inaccess ko ung webmaster tools and verified my site for the first time
4. duplicate meta tags daw sabi sa webmaster tools (inayos ko n rin ngaun, iba ba yung meta keywords sa meta description?)
or 5. wla lang, at bukas gigising din ako na parang walang ngyari (i experienced this once, di naiindex new posts ko napraning ako nun gabi then kinabukasan ayun sila!)

so sorry to hear that! yan ang pinaka-HASSLE sa lahat…government ID’s. You need Affidavit of Loss to make a new one, but hindi naman super tagal lumabas yung ID ko before when I lost the first one, pero I can’t remember how long. Good luck sa ID and mukhang hopeless na to get it back ;)

I suggest get a new SSS card, state your case & they might consider it. Siguro o baka pede mag-add ng fees for rush processing, magpa-pasko na at baka pumayag, heheh. Ewan ko ba bakit ganyan satin eh nagbabayad naman tayo. Parang ung driver’s license ko, ni-renew ko at di ko nakuha bago ako umalis ng pinas at nakuha ko nung nagbakasyon uli ako. :???:

kahit medyo matagal basta you will have your SSS ID lang

Hi Jehz.. although it’s too late for me to reply. I still want to say something. Snatchers is always around in our country. Sakit na ata ito sa ating Bansa. There is an old story nga eh. Na malalaman mo na nasa Quiapo kana pag wala ka ng relo sa kamay
