What’s the best Internet Service Provider (ISP) in the Philippines?
Ok, I’ve been offline for 2 days straight “AGAIN” because of Smart Bro’s Awesome Internet Connection and I can’t blame myself of choosing it as my ISP due to the fact that I already knew that it really sucks, still, I made my dumb choice to go for Smart Bro.

All Internet Service Providers had their own “Negative Reviews” that’s why I can’t decide myself which of them is better than the other. I only know few ISPs here in the Philippines (excluding Smart Bro): Globelines Broadband, Sky Cable’s ZPDee, DigitelOne DSL, Bayantel DSL, Meridian Telekoms Broadband and PLDT MyDSL.
What I’m trying to do now is to solicit comments from you, my dear readers, of what’s the best Internet Service Provider in the Philippines from your own experience because I’m planning to dump Smart Bro and move to a brand new ISP after suffering internet havoc for 48 hours straight.
Hoping to hear from you guys… ![]()

I’ve used Smart Bro, and I think their service sucks.
I’m on Globe Broadband now. Overall, I’m satisfied with the service. I’m paying for 1 Mbps a month but I can download torrents at speeds of up to 300 kbps. But one thing that annoys me is the frequent disconnection. Sometimes, you get disconnected as often as every 5 minutes. And you’re unlucky if you get the IP address of their proxy servers. For an average surfer, maybe it’s ok. But for someone like me who plays online strategy games competitively, it gets really annoying. One disconnection = 1 loss. T.T

I have used wireless smart bro at 516 kbps and keep me in good connection for a whole year. Main problem if you intend to place a wireless router to share in the household you will keep on acquiring an IP address and will bother your connectivity and tech support will ask you to disconnect your router. Smart Bro has a quick fix program and will assist instantly in your connection problem. Very good I would say for a single PC.
Shifted to globe cable Internet at 1 mbps and keep me running good connection, accept router.
For mobility I used a Celfone from smart and is good for going thru your email and light surfing. It stall sometimes and connectivity is horrible at peak hours and weekend.
I tried a prepaid vissibility from globe which claimto run at 1.8 mbps. NOW THIS IS CALLED ‘HARANG’, This things runs like a dial up at 56 kbps and does it get higher than 256kbps in selected areas and the prepaid loading system is hackable. You load it, it get stolen immediately by hacker. Spread this around. MAIINIS KA LANG AT GUSTO KO NANG ITAPON DI MO PA MA IREFUND.
I will try smart bro mobile which they claim to run at 2 mbps. Will somebody give me a feed back so I will not run into a SCAM as globe vissibility

RE: Wanting to advertise on this site ~ Please sent off to your advertising editor.
Dear Sir/Madam:
We are a small parcel forwarding company that solicits customers worldwide in order to forward items that they may purchase in the USA. Usually the originating American merchants don’t ship to international destinations for whatever their reason.
We are seeking advertising with your internet firm to increase our business. We can pay you a reasonable fee for any customers that you send our way. We have already been burned by advertising agencies that charge upfront fees and just don’t deliver, so fees based on the number of actual buyers will be best for us.
Presently we post only on eBay, but that may change in the near future. To familiarize yourselves with our service, please view our eBay international listing: Worldwide package handling & forwarding service from US - 200274194541. We make little money charging only 99¢ for our service, but we do have a markup of about $20.00 a box on S&H via the United States Postal Service.
If you are interested or like to know more, please e-mail us at samuelrowold@msn.com.
Sincerely,
Samuel ROWOLD
