Apple and AT&T are making strict measures about the activation of the iPhone so that they can avoid future troubles. iPhone 3G is available at over 1,800 AT&T locations across the United States. To unlock and activate iPhone 3G, you need the following:

» SSN: Social security number
» Valid government-issued photo ID
