Weeeeeee!! I’m so happy, I took the Google Test for the first time, and without knowing it, I got a perfect score! I think I’m just lucky that’s why I passed. I don’t know the details about Google, Inc., but I managed to pass the sample exam to work in theNo. 1 Company in the United States! for the year 2007.

The Power of CSS Design

Monday, February 19th, 2007

Oh.. It’s the beauty, not the power. I recently submitted my CSS to CSS Zen Garden today! I hope my layout will be chosen and be posted in the css Zen Garden website. By the way, what is this CSS Zen Garden thing? and where did I find this sort of stuff?

Ahem, Winston told me, thru text, if I have already browsed this campaign for CSS website. I told him that I haven’t visited it yet. Throught curiosity, I then browsed the said website. I found out that it’s a site that unleashes the power of CSS and showing it’s beauty, by applying it to a plain, a very plain HTML, no tables, no color, no text size, just a plain html, with plain text and links of course. Use of tables is a big NO NO, and I know, that the use of tables for web layout is not advised nowadays, it should be only used for tabular data. I’m pretty late in this web development stuff. I love image slicing in Image Ready, and using tables in my designs and a GIF image spacer, but, after a series of web browsing about the latest web designing methods, I found out that using tables is a very old fashioned web development thing. Oh my! I shouldn’t use tables in creating my web pages. I admit it, I’m not updated about this kind of stuff, and I’m such a mediocre, to be more precise, a below-mediocre in the field of web creation and design.

Okey, I know I’m so far far away, not just far far, but far far far from the main topic. I just wanna share this website. It’s all about CSS, oo nga CSS ang kulet! Ituloy Angsulong again! Hehe…

I’m always talking about CSS, but I didn’t explain what is CSS? Ano ba yan! I don’t want this post to be long again, just like my other posts. If you want to know more about CSS, just google it, I know you’ll find EXACTLY what you are looking for. That’s all for now. Thanks!

Eleksyon 2007

This is a video that was made by The Composed Gentlemen featuring 24 senatorial candidates. It is the Unity Ticket vs. The Grand Opposition. I’m supporting his drive to help inform the Filipino voters about the kind of public servants they are hoping to place in the Senate. Please help us spread the video by posting it in your blog. And also, please provide a link back to this blog, and to the author’s blog,
The Composed Gentlemen. Ituloy Angsulong sa pag spread natin ng news na to, to help our fellow Filipinos to vote right, and only choose the one who is best suitable for the position. For our own betterment, and for the country, of course. :)

Kaya dapat lang, Ituloy Angsulong!, because the Philippine Midterm Elections is fast approaching. May 14, 2007 is the day that will test if the Administration candidates (Unity Ticket) under Pres. Gloria Macapagal Arroyo still have the charisma to win the support of the Filipino people. The Opposition candidates (Grand Opposition) are putting their best guards in front to stop the Unity Ticket from winning. Who will survive? Who will be in the final magic 12 come election day?

The answer depends on us!

For full screenshot preview, click HERE

I’m sOOooo! Happy I earned $3.52 just for 1 day, yesterday, on Google Adsense! I was so surprised, and I can’t believe, that for just 1 day, my Adsense earnings when up to Three Dollars! Hehe.. I’m only earning 0.00 dollars to 0.01 dollars for 1 week a few days ago before yesterday. I earned 0.29 dollars for 1 month, from the 1st time I registered in Google Adsense last year. From October 2006 to January 2007, I only earned $3.42, that’s a total of 4 months! Kaya nagulat ako ngayon! Because my 4-month adsense earnings is just equal to my 1 day earning yesterday! Whew! I hope this 3-dollar-per-day earning will continue, and will grow for up to 10 to 20 dollars per day! Sana… I think I should make more interesting topics here in my blog, to earn more, and grab that Google Check someday, kahit isang taon, isang Google Check lang, it’ll make my happy na! Hay saya talaga! hehehe… sensya na sa mga high earners, it’s my first time kasi to earn 3 dollars for just 1 day! Hehe…

I would like to thank Google for this very useful web discoveries, the Google Adsense, Google Adwords, AdSense for Search, and for all the Google Web Apps, like Google Maps, Google Docs & Spreadsheets, Google Video, Google SMS (US), Google Glossary, and specially to Google Labs for creating such astounding web apps!

TABS :: The Ateneo Biological Society

Friday, February 9th, 2007

Whew! At last! I have finished the design request of Daniel Unno H. Hiquiana, a TABS member of Ateneo de Davao University. Thank you so much for your patience. I’ve been thinking for this design for so long of how to generate it, implement it, and construct it in Photoshop. My idle time in making this design is far more greater than creating this in Photoshop. But, after wasting a billion milliseconds of thinking, hehe.. I’ve come up to a great design, for me, and for one of my critics, Winston Almendras. He said that the design was incredibly awesome! It was such a complement for me, to make more T-shirt designs. I hope TABS will like this one.
This is my 37th T-shirt design, I think, from my first T-shirt Design, the 2003 DOST - Scholars’ Association T-shirt. Every design for me is such an achievement to be cherished! Naks naman! hehehe.. This TABS T-shirt design, is simple but elegant, it shows an abstract-like, (but not so abstact) figures of biology, like the DNA, Benzene Ring, and the Atom. The font used in this design was Space Age font, thanks to the creator of this font, whoever you are, because it really fits my conceptualized design. I was looking for a font, that is compatible with the bio images that I created, and I finally found one, the Space Age Font! YihEee! ^_~ More designs coming soon! ^_^

For a FREE T-shirt design, or design consultation, just e-mail me at jehzlau@dostscholars.org. or leave a message on my CBOX. I’ll be very happy to make one for you, or help you surmise a graphic design that you want, just be patient. (kasi sinisingit ko lang while working, hehe)

Teka, pahabol, special thanks to Ituloy Angsulong! For its continues movement to define the importance of SEO in the World Wide Web, and of course, in the Internet Market of the Philippines. For PHP, for a very simple, yet powerful programming language, to AJAX for all of the very awesome AJAX powered apps, like gmail, yahoomail beta, google maps, and all google’s API, it was pretty fascinating and astounding! Thanks to Ruby on Rails, for a web development that doesn’t hurt, and most of all, thanks to Tim Berners Lee, and to all the geeks out there, in making this impossible World Wide Web, come true!

Honors’ Society T-shirt

Tuesday, February 6th, 2007

This T-shirt design is a granted request of Mark Aethen Agana. The Honors’ Society T-shirt of the Notre Dame of Marbel University. I just want to post it here, so I’ll have an archive of my newly released T-shirt designs. I’m also planning to post my past designs, but I think I’ll post it in my Portfolio Website, that is still underconstruction (in my mind). I really don’t have time to make another one, but I’m planning to make a portfolio site with blog, and another site for graphic tutorials. Hehehe.. dami, I really do hope na magagawa ko lahat yan isa isa. Oh my, I should post more english than vernacular, so that my google adsense can show advertisements, because it will not show more links when I post in vernacular. I should mention some famous search topics like PHP, ituloy angsulong, Ruby on Rails, Photoshop, Corel DRAW, COBOL, Programming, etc. Basta common tags, at common search topics pwede na. Okey mag mention pa ako, ahmmm… PHP Libraries, CMS, Content Management System, Science, History, Mathematics, English, Coldfusion, Dreamweaver, Flash MX, Swish Max, Studio 8, Actionscript 2.0, Apache Server, Apache, TomCat, Java, Java Beans, J2EE, at wala na. I’m really sorry for this nonsense post of mine, just wanna post something to help my google adsense display ads, hehehehe…

My Honors’ Society design is purely from my creative mind, it’s not a copy paste of some sort of graphic design from other websites or other online resources. It was created by me and only me. The white version of the design is just an inverted design of my original black design. I created the black shirt design first before the white one. Then I inverted it, and saved it as another file. After it, I just filled a blue color to the human head, because it turns yellow as I inverted the image color. I sketched some graph and equations in Corel X3, and imported the saved JPEG file to photoshop, added it as another layer, then merged all the layers after finalizing the design. That’s it! hehehe.. hay.. kapagod talaga mag english, pero kelangan, may $3.00 dollars na rin me sa google adsense, konting tiyaga nalang at $100.00 na yun.. kelan pa kaya? Maybe someday… Someday soon, soon someday… hehe.. ^_^ Ituloy Angsulong Singit ko lang to para may mabasa din na Ituloy, hehe.. mabuhay ang SEO sa Pilipinas! Whew! (Anong connect?)

My Very First Credit Card Ever

Monday, February 5th, 2007

While I was browsing my online account at http://bpiexpressonline.com, I was surprised because I found another table below my Account History Info. It states “Credit Card” and I’m not really sure, if it’s true (that it tells me na I have a credit card na), hehe, kasi first time pa me makakita ng bagong table na yun sa baba ng Portfolio page ko sa BPI website. May nakalagay pa na Edge, that’s why, I assumed na my Credit Card Application was approved. I really really really don’t expect that it will be approved, because one of the requirements is that you should be 21, and I just turned 20 last September. After browsing their website, I logged out, then, went to the nearest BPI branch to confirm if my credit card is really approved, I havn’t received any mail or physical card yet, but I saw my Online account, that my credit card was approved. I then asked the staff incharged inside BPI, she then browsed and checked their database, and told me that my BPI Edge Master Card was approved, and I should wait next week, or this week, because it will be delivered in our office. Subsequently, she told me, that I should return to the bank, when I receive that Credit Card, for online enrollment, so that I can pay my bills online :). I went back to my office. After a few seconds, the security guard called me, and told me that someone is looking for me, and told me maybe it is a telegram or a package. I went outside, and was surprised that it was my credit card, delivered the same day that it was approved! Whoaw! BPI is pretty fast! I happily signed the paper that the man gave me, to confirm, that I received that credit card. I then went back to the nearest BPI branch, and enrolled my credit card for online payment system. The staff told me, that it’s a hassle free payment system, I don’t need to get to the bank to pay my bills. I’ll just login using my online account in BPI Express Online, then for just a few clicks, I’ll be able to pay me Master Card bills. Thanks to BPI for a very convenient mode of payment. Also, a big thanks to Savant Technologies, because without this company, it’s impossible for me to have a credit card at the age of 20. Hehehe.. I’m really so happy to have this credit card, I hope I will not get tempted to use this to buy something I want, but I really don’t need. I really do hope so… :)
