Hi Dommi!
All you need is copy paste the game to your R4DS card. Connect the R4DS to ur PC, then copy the .NDS game there, inside the games folder or any folder. Then put it back to ur DS Console, so that you can play the game.

Look, I have a box. Inside it, there are 4 things, a little cd (R4 Revolution for Ds), two ”Micro SD adapters” one bigger tan the other and a ”Micro SD USB 2.0”.
I tried to put one inside the other, but they didn’t matched.
I don’t know if Im doing well, but I think it may be a little hard for me to understand how to use this things.
My brother’s Ds, came with 10 or maybe 15 games in the R4, but, when we bought it, I didnt ask the guy how to use this thing, Now I realise how complicated it is!!
I may look just too inteligent :roll:

You should be able to just turn it off unless there is a save button. Try pressing different buttons to see if you can save if u cant then i guess its okay to just turn off

connect your nintendo DS to ur PC through USB. Your PC will detect that a USB device is connected. Copy the DS Games to your DS. That’s it!
If you don’t have a USB, you can use a Card Reader as an alternative. :smile:

if there’s no cable available, you need to purchase a card reader. I think it’s not that expensive. It’s around $10 USD or less

I don’t know why. After I downloaded those games in this site,
I copy and paste to the R4 card, then i use it in my Ds Lite, but the only word that appear is “Loading..” It took some time, and it doesn’t change.. What happened?

you need to change the theme on your DS. Try ndsthemes dot com
if you want a custom background, just replace the images in the theme that you’ve downloaded

you need to rename the image the you’ve replaced. If the image that you’ve replace has the name of 1234.jpg, the new image should also have the same name, with the same size of course

maybe the theme that you’ve downloaded is not correct. You should download a theme that is compatible with you card. If you are using R4DS, you should download a theme that is compatible for R4DS.
Once you have downloaded the theme, just change the image. For example the image name was bckgrnd_1.bmp
Change that image to a new image then save it as bckgrnd_1.bmp (Same File Name)
Then you can use your custom image as your theme.

i got dat.. buh once i download da theme i got to .. send to my removble disk.. and thenn safely remove thenn… ..

hi all just been readin sum comments im a 58yr old lady not very brainy, but i just worked out how to make the cartrige game for dsl, 1st you need to purchase r4 revolution card for dsl (anywere u have a small pc shop NOT the big stores) or enter 2gb R4 revolution for ds ] into google this will get u wot you want this also comes with a usb flash, you have to downloads the software onto the card it simple all on the internet,once you have downloaded the software onto the card make a folder called nds games,then when u have got your free games from here unzip them and add too your new r4 card all zipp files must be unzipped before puttin onto R4 flash usb, then plug in the R4 card with the memory into your ds turn on ds then wait for load ,click on the folder the on the top screen names of your gamesshould be there, click on 1 of the games with your stylus it will ask if u want too create a sav file click yes then yr game will load +bingo u there simple if i can do it then u can too hope this helps

Hello, what do you do when the message can’t save file please turn off and reinsert card comes up on the new games (ie Ben 10 Alien force) I found a patch but I can’t seem to get it working. Is there a quick fix ????

That happened for one of my games on r4 ds as well. So i asked my bro and he searched it on google for me, then there was one search where it said download this file to prevent this from happening so you have to download that file and add it to the game file thats not working!! It then should work. Sorry it happened a long time ago so i dont remember the exact name of the file.

I once downloaded a game…it was in japanese
also, after downloading from here, my ds crashed..
it’s probably just me because my friends never experienced this. It was also on the laptop, not the desktop….make sure u have an anti virus thingamajigar because ur computer might be vulnerable…it has nothing to do with this website though…this web rocks! :grin:

Yeah, for NDSi you need R4i the box is usually red. I bought mine from R4DS.co.uk, delivered 6 days of ordering. They said they ship worldwide and it’s original and it works on my DS. Great value, worth the wait.. good luck!

Hey. You dont need to open it in your PC. Just move it to the games folder in your DS. But make sure that the file is in the .nds format.
Yeah. After you copy it your games folder on you NDS, put the card back onto your Ds, and start playing the game! :smile:

hey i just downloaded the game straight to my pc, its the sims castaway the thing is that i dont really know what to do next… so yeah what do i have to do? do i need a program on my sd card?? or whats up i have a card with 512mb does it work?? and if its not enough memory you can still tell me i have another one with more memory:D i will love you so much plis help me

before that, u must extract file if the file is type of winrar archiver…hope this can help u..
