Ok, nobody got the right answer in my previous Blue Stickman Tribes puzzle so I’m extending it until March 5, 2009! Yep yep, you can answer the puzzle until March 5, 2009! Someone almost got the right answer. But that’s just almost, almost is still different from the correct answer. But almost is “almost” and it’s almost correct. But again, it’s just almost.

To lessen your headache in answering the Blue Stickman Tribes Puzzle (Also known as the Blue Stickman Puzzle No. 2), I will give you more hints and tips! Now this is a great great giveaway to all puzzle fanatics and puzzle solvers here at Jehzlau Concepts!

The prizes at stake are: $100.00 USD (thru Paypal) and Google Code Stickers (you should answer Puzzle No. 2 + Puzzle No. 3 correctly to get the prize). 1. ANSWER FOR BS2: A and N
    EXPLANATION: Because A and N raises one stick man like they are tribes praising someone for a win or something, it is like when a hero got home from a battle.

  2. ANSWER FOR BS3: A C E M R
    EXPLANATION:

    Starting with Hint #5: 14766.6 x 5 = 73833
    Using Hint #4, 3 = C, so #0738CC is a shade of blue.

    Using Hints 1, 2 & 3: Using ColorPix, I scanned the bluemen (A,C,E,M,R) and found that they have two shades of blue, #0537CD and #0738CC. The main color of the bluemen is #0537CD and parts of the right hand of the bluemen are colored #0738CC. So this satisfies Hint #3. The Bluemen are not 100% of the same shade. To satisfy Hints 1&2, I converted the hex colors to RGB, which gives us 5,55,205 and 7,56,204. Oh ha, 205 and 204 in the Blue part of the RGB. 205>204 means that the 5,55,205 color is the major blue shade in the bluemen while 7,56,204 is the minor shade. 205>204.

  3. ANSWER FOR BS3: C, R, E, A, M
    EXPLANATION: Because they’re not 100% colored blue. Each of their right hands actually has a shade of #0738CC. The dominant shade of blue is #0537CD, which is the color of the other blue stick men.

    Hint 5: 14766.6 x 5 = 73833
    Hint 4: 738 33 is to #0738CC
    Hint 3: They’re not 100% colored blue.
    Hints 2 and 1: hex to RGB:
    #0738CC is to 7 56 204.
    #0537CD is to 5 55 205.

    – – – – –

    ANSWER FOR BS2: H and D
    EXPLANATION: They both have the same number of members, that is 8. And each of them has one member that is a #0738CC shade of blue. The rest are in a #0537CD shade of blue.

  4. ANSWER FOR BS3: C, R, E, A, M
    EXPLANATION: Because theyโ€™re not 100% colored blue. Each of their right hands actually has a shade of #0738CC. The dominant shade of blue is #0537CD, which is the color of the other blue stick men.

    Hint 5: 14766.6 x 5 = 73833
    Hint 4: 738 33 is to #0738CC
    Hint 3: Theyโ€™re not 100% colored blue.
    Hints 2 and 1: hex to RGB:
    #0738CC is to 7 56 204.
    #0537CD is to 5 55 205.

  5. ANSWER FOR BS2: A and N
    EXPLANATION: They may not have equal number of members of the tribe they share one important trait. They both value the kids as I see it in the abstract blue stick men.

  6. ANSWER FOR BS3: A, C, E, R, M
    EXPLANATION:

    I will explain base on the tips and hints:

    If we consider the tip 1. If you know how to answer the Blue Stickman Tribes Puzzle (Blue Stickman Puzzle No. 2), then this one is easy for you!

    – I now know how to answer BS2. It’s all about the web colors, other refer it as hex colors (History of John Nash, about hex and hex games, but not exactly pointing to the web colors). I will first explain my answer in BS3 based on the hints.

    1. 204 is lesser than 205 – 204 is really lesser than 205. If you use Photoshop (by Thomas Knoll, basing on BS2) you can easily determine 205 and 204. This is the value of B (color Blue) if you use RGB in determining the exact value of a web color.

    0738CC (073833 applying hint no. 4) = B204
    0537CD (053734 applying hint no. 4) = B205

    2. 205 is greater than 204 – this one is still true. 205 is greater than 204. My explanation on no. 1 still applies here.

    3. Noโ€ฆ Itโ€™s not 100% – yep, it’s no 100%. The hex value 0738CC is not used to entirely cover 0537CD. Even if it’s ironic that 0537CD is greater in the hint, 0738CC is greater than 0537CD (or 204 is greater 205), considering the amount of space that the hex value was used in coloring the area of the Blue Stickman. We can notice this if we really observe and connect the dots accordingly.

    Hence, only about 5% or approximately 5% is the total area that B205 was used to color the CREAM (my answer if you scramble the letters to form a word). and this satisfies hint no. 3, that it’s not really 100%, only 5% (based on approximation) or lesser than 5%.

    4. ABC is still equal to 123 = This is understood and was elucidated in my previous examples.

    ABC = 123 thus, 0738CC is equal to 073833 (if we convert the letters only, it satisfies hint no. .5) and 0537CD = 053734 (this wasn’t used in any of the hints, but still, a part of the puzzle to determine the furious 5!)

    5. 14766.6 x 5 = ? = 73833 and is equal to 073833 (I added 0 so that it will satisfy the previous hints, the use of hex). 073833 is equal to 0738CC (B204).

    Strategically and logically, my explanation satisfy all the hints.

    And that’s it, that’s my answer to BS3! Sana tama to. I will now explain step by step how to get the BS2 answer. ๐Ÿ˜‰

  7. ANSWER FOR BS2: H and D
    EXPLANATION:

    I will explain my answer based on the tips and hints:

    Let’s go back to the previous tips and hints

    TIPS
    1. Learn to compare – I compared all of them, and this is the key to get the right answer
    2. Be very clever – I’m clever enough to get the right answer
    3. Be resourceful – I’m very resourceful, I used Photoshop, Corel, and other photo editing and graphic designing software to get the right answer
    4. If you donโ€™t have a computer, you canโ€™t answer this puzzle – I have a computer and it’s very impossible to answer your puzzle if I don’t own one. Due to the fact that this puzzle involves web colors (hex colors) and it’s impossible for everyone to answer this if this is printed onto paper.
    5. Learn how to count – I used my skills in counting to determine the right answer
    6. Do the math – This puzzle also involves mathematics to sum up the total value of hex colors in H and D
    7. You can use a calculator if you want to – I didn’t use a calculator. I used Microsoft Excel to sum up the total value of all hex colors in each box.
    8. Google can help – Yes, Google can definitely help me. I Google John Nash and found out that he’s part of the theory of games and this involves hex games. I realized that the word “hex” is related to the puzzle and the colors used in the puzzle has a specific hex value.
    9. The hints will lead the way – I read the all the hints and it lead me the way to determine the correct answer and the proper explanation of each hint.
    10. Avoid printing the screen – If you print the screen and paste it somewhere, the value of hex color alters. If you print this onto paper, you can get the right value of hex colors as it was looking for 570564 + 1 or 570565 (This is the total of all hex of H and of D if all the hex colors of the blue stickmans inside each box is added)
    11. Smile and enjoy – Yeah, I’m enjoying while I’m solving this amazing puzzle!
    12. Donโ€™t complicate your life – I’m not complicating my life because I’m having fun and I’m not thinking above the line to explain my reasons of how did I get the answer.
    13. Solve the puzzle – I already solved it!

    HINTS:
    1. If youโ€™re blind, you cannot answer this puzzle – Obviously
    2. If you canโ€™t hear, you can answer this puzzle – Obviously, you can’t hear hex colors can you?
    3. If you canโ€™t smell, you can answer this puzzle – Obviously, you can’t smell hex colors, can you?
    4. If you donโ€™t know how to add and compare, you cannot answer this puzzle – I added and I compared my answers to get the right answer
    5. If you canโ€™t walk, you can answer this puzzle – Obviously, you don’t need to stand up and do some wacky dance to get the right answer.
    6. If you canโ€™t think, you cannot answer this puzzle – I can think
    7. If you donโ€™t want to answer this puzzle, you cannot answer this puzzle – I CAN and I WANT!
    8. Discern past from the present and vice versa – This means that you should compare the old hints from the new hints. In the very first Blue Stickman puzzle, it was stated in tip no. 2 that: 2. There are NO subtle tricks. All stickmans has the same total area, same hex color, same width and same height and everything is the same except the shapes and the number of shapes printed onto them

    That was the PAST (the previous IQ Puzzle)!

    That tip was eliminated in the PRESENT! (2nd Blue Stickman IQ Puzzle)

    Hence, we should consider hex as part of the game. Not just a part, but it’s the main factor to get the correct answer!

    9. John Nash has a Beautiful Mind – If we use Google and read about John Nash, we’ll find out that he was part of the History of Hex!

    Based on Wikipedia: Nash also created two popular games: Hex in 1947

    Based on HexWiki: According to Martin Gardner, some of the Princeton University students also referred to the game as John, because it was often played on the hexagonal tiles of bathroom floors. However, this story is, according to Jack van Rijswijck, unfortunately apocryphal. In 1952 Parker Brothers marketed a version. They called their version “Hex” and the name stuck.

    John Nash has definitely a Beautiful Mind by creating a game called “Hex” and this “Hex” thing lead me to the right path and deciphering your puzzle and getting the right answer.

    Hex by John Nash is not really the hex in web colors, but it’s a “HINT” to get to the right answer.

    That’s how John Nash was involved in this puzzle.

    References:

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Forbes_Nash,_Jr.

    10. Thomas Knoll has a Clever Mind – Thomas Knoll has indeed a clever mind by being one of the developers of Photoshop. Based on my research he’s the main brain of this software and the lead developer of PS!

    If you use PS, you will easily determine the right answer. Thomas Knoll will help you solve the Blue Stickman puzzle easily by getting the exact value of hex colors from each Blue Stickman!

    11. ABC is equal to 123 = This one is used to convert some of the letters from the hex value of a color.

    For example:
    0738CC and 0537CD
    0738CC = 073833
    0537CD = 053734

    12. 570564 + 1 = This is the sum of all hex values of the blue stickmans in box H. This is also the sum of all hex values of the blue stickmans in box D. Thus, H and D are similar to each other and unique from the REST!

    Let’s be more specific. If you add all the values of all blue stickmans in D you’ll get:

    Let’s imagine this is BOX D:
    Blue Stickman 1 = 073833
    Blue Stickman 2 = 053734
    Blue Stickman 3 = 053734
    Blue Stickman 4 = 053734
    Blue Stickman 5 = 053734
    Blue Stickman 6 = 053734
    Blue Stickman 7 = 053734
    Blue Stickman 8 = 053734
    Sum = 449971

    Let’s imagine this is BOX H:
    Blue Stickman 1 = 053734
    Blue Stickman 2 = 053734
    Blue Stickman 3 = 053734
    Blue Stickman 4 = 053734
    Blue Stickman 5 = 053734
    Blue Stickman 6 = 053734
    Blue Stickman 7 = 073833
    Blue Stickman 8 = 053734
    Sum = 449971

    To satisfy hint no 12 (570564 + 1 or 570565), let’s invert the value of hex colors (Why? Because this is the only way to get 570565 and there’s no other way)

    So now, if you add the total of Box H and the total of Box D you’ll get 570565 from both.

    Box H now has 1 053734 and 7 073833, same with box D.

    53734 + 7(73833) = 570565

    That’s how we get the value 570565. The inverted hex value total of all the blue stickmans in Box D and the inverted hex value total of all the blue stickmans in Box H.

    If you curious how did I come up with H and D, the the answer is simple: I added all the inverted values of all Blue Stickman from A to O.

    A = 664497
    B = 469732
    C = 516831
    D = 570565 – Got yah!
    E = 590664
    F = 516831
    G = 516831
    H = 570565 – Got yah!
    I = 516831
    J = 590664
    K = 590664
    L = 516831
    M = 644398
    N = 590664
    O = 590664

    Others are unique buy they had no partner, others are common, which is not what wer are looking for. After a series of adding, comparing and logical thinking, I’ve come up with my answer: H and D. H and D has a hidden desire to each other, that’s why it’s HD! High Definition! Hidden Desire! Whatever you call it!

    13. If youโ€™re from the stone age, you cannot answer this puzzle – There are not computers in the stone age, so it’s impossible for you to answer this puzzle. And also, the hex colors are not yet discovered during this age.

    And also to satisfy the latest hints:

    1. 570565 = 570565 = I already explained this clearly. This is the inverted total value of boxes H and D.
    2. These 2 are similar but subtle = Yep, they are similar. Look H 570565 is equal to D 570565. But, you can’t easily notice them if you’re not a keen observer.
    3. If Thomas Knoll canโ€™t help, maybe others can = If Thomas Knoll (pertaining to Photoshop) can’t help, others can. Corel, Gimp and other photo editing and designing software can help.
    4. History: What was the name of the other guy again? = The other guy was John Nash. I already read his History and found out about “Hex”.
    5. Intransitive Verb: To Practice W______ (ooops if I fill in the blank, itโ€™s spoon feeding!) = This is witchcraft.

    If you search about the words related to “Hex” you’ll find out that if you use hex as an intransitive verb, it’s to practice of Witchcraft!

    Reference:
    http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/hex

    I hope my answer is right kuya!

      • if you’re clever enough, you can easily figure it out.

        But… if you want a logical approach, my basis of how it was inverted was connected to the second puzzle.

        You need to answer the 1st one and the 2nd one in order to get the prize.

        So there’s something that links the two blue stickman puzzles.

        One of the links was it was both a hex puzzle and the other subtle factor was the “inverting” thing.

        So why did we invert?

        It so happened that (considering the hints given):
        1. 204 is lesser than 205 – 204 is really lesser than 205.

        So, is 205 really greater than 204 if we base on the puzzle? The answer is clearly NO.

        The Blue 205 in RGB was only applied in the right hand of the blue stickman. Approximately, it’s only 5% of the entire area.

        So that means, B204 is greater than B205.

        They are inverted. 205 is now LESSER than 204.

        Same with the sum of the hex codes in BS2, they are also inverted.

        And… it’s the only LOGICAL way to get the mystery number “570565”.

        ๐Ÿ™‚

      • hi jen.

        correction.. the shade #0738CC is the color of the right hands of A, C, E, M, R.

        #0738CC is to 7 56 204.
        #0537CD is to 5 55 205.

        the dominant color is the #0537CD shade.
        that’s why 205 is greater than 204.
        accordingly, 204 is lesser than 205.

    • Nagets ko na… Magaling, Magaling to si Jen, I’ll admit… Pero me kulang na factor eh, para perfect to 10000% solution ni Jen… Di ko rin ma solve factor na yun… Can’t say which factor pero critical sya… Hmmm…

      • oo nga ang hirap intindihin.. baka inapply lang ni jen yung tip no. 2: Be Very Clever

        Clever na clever pati lahat ng ways para ma solve ginawa. Hehe

        Like adding all blue stickmans inside a box, replacing only 2 letters to numbers sa hex, inverting the value of hex, dami pa. Woooooooot! ๐Ÿ˜ฏ

      • naku may chance pa.. hindi pa huli ang lahat, pwede mo pa explain ng lubusan ang sagot mo ๐Ÿ˜€ baka mali si jen :mrgreen:

        yung witchcraft obvious na yun, pero marami ding naloko dyan. Si fitz isip nya well. Kaya yung mga naka angat na kamay pinili nya, to practice well. Hehe

    • Jen balato ha pag tama ka! ๐Ÿ˜ฎ mukhang may logic ang sagot mo at tumugma lahat sa hints. Sa palagay ko lang, sana panalo ka na at ma solve na ang lintik na puzzle ni jehzeel! hahaha ๐Ÿ˜ฏ

    EXPLANATION: Because when I opened the image in Photoshop and Equalized it, the left hands of C, R, E, A, and M has a different color compared to the rest of the Blue Stickmans.

    That’s what makes them different! Easy at it sounds, but subtle as it looks.

  10. ANSWER FOR BS2: H and D

    Explanation : It is already explained by Jen

    and I agree with her calculation that the sum of all hex when converted to number of H & D will be both equal to 570565

    John Nash and Thomas Knoll are both involved Photoshop which is a tool to get the answer.

    The difference is subtle which are not obvious because you need to use a certain program to get it.

  11. Hey Jehz thanks for dropping by my blog. Love your blue stick man concept. Buti iyong blue stick man mo you can do anything with him (Make him scratch his head, make him jump hehehehe) i can’t do anything with my Che Guevarra hehehehehe…. except for some word clouds. hehehehehhe

  12. My BS2 entry! WEEEEH! :mrgreen:

    ANSWER FOR BS2: D and H
    EXPLANATION:

    Using the tips of the original post:

    Hint #9: John Nash created the game Hex in 1947. Hex will play a big role solving the puzzle, referring mostly to hexadecimal colors.
    Hint #10: Thomas Knoll (with John Knoll) created Photoshop, which helps us discern the hexadecimal colors in the puzzle.
    Hint #11: Using the aforementioned hints, a quick color scan of the puzzle reveal that 2 shades of blue were used. Namely #0537CD and #0738CC. Applying hint 11 the shades are transformed into 053734 and 072833.
    Hint # 12: From the previous puzzle scan, there are 4 tribes that exhibit the two shades uniqueness. B, D, H, and M. In all four tribes, one member is shaded with the minor blue shade, #0728CC. Doing calculations on tribes B and M do not yield any useful output, but applying some simple math on D and H, we get the following:
    7 bluemen shaded with #0537CD (053734)
    1 blueman shaded with #0738CC (073833)

    so disregarding insignificant zeros:

    7 * 53734 = 376138 and
    1 * 73833 = 73833

    376138 + 73833 = 449971 != 570565. ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

    To workaround this, and invoking (what?) tips 2 & 3 (be very clever and resourceful), I changed the multipliers like so:
    7 * 73833 = 516831
    1 * 53734 = 53734

    516831 + 53734 = 570565. This satisfies the 570564 + 1 hint. And this combination is the only tribe combination (calculating the number of members and the unique two-shaded blue stickman) that equals 570565 mathematically.

    Hint #13: And if you lived in the stone age, hanggang rock TV meron like the Flintstones. hehehe ๐Ÿ˜€

    To further enhance the D and H answer, I went on to satisfy the additional hints:

    1. 570565 = 570565 : Using the aforementioned calculation, we can see that both tribes D and H have equal calculated hexadecimal and multiplier value; So D=H=570565. No other tribe can claim this calculation output.

    2. These 2 are similar but subtle – Subtle in a way that you can only discern the tribe’s differences by comparing their minute shades of blue using a image tool.

    3. If Thomas Knoll canโ€™t help, maybe others can – Thomas Knoll is the creator (co-creator for the picky) of Photoshop, which can be used to identify the two hexadecimal shades of blue in the puzzle. Pero if you don’t have PS available, you can always use other tools like Illustrator, ColorPix, etc. to identify the shades.

    4. History: What was the name of the other guy again? – John Nash was mentioned in the original post and important to derive the use of Hex. He created a game called Hex.

    5. Intransitive Verb: To Practice W______ (ooops if I fill in the blank, itโ€™s spoon feeding!) – To Practice Witchcraft. This reinforces the use of Hex since doing a quick Google analysis, the word Hex appears readily in online dictionaries and thesauruses.

    Phew, ang haba! Sana ok to! ๐Ÿ˜€

  13. Hi Master Blue Stick Man, pwede nyo po bang ipost every day if nasolve na yung BS2? Tutal po ay naextend naman siya at dapat talaga nung Feb 26 yung solution. hehe para huminto nako sa pagisip kung panu isolve.hehe thanks

  18. ANSWER FOR BS3:

    ANSWER: G, J, R, C and F
    REASON: 14766.6 x 5 = 73833

    ABC=123: 7=G; we’ll start from G. Count 3 to the right and we get to J; count 8 and we get to R; looping, count 3, we get to C; and another 3, we get to F

    – all 5 stickmen have the same size of neck although not 100% as the neck of stickman R is a little bit longer.

    – 204 is less than 205 and vice versa: there are necks lesser and greater than the 5.

  19. Hereโ€™s my first ANSWER TO BS2:

    ANSWER: B and C
    REASON: Because only B and C have 2 pairs of mirrored images and the bottom images mirror each otherโ€™s position. Pls check the image at http://picasaweb.google.com/ceefive67/BlueStickmen#5308602243676950690 for a clearer understanding of what I meant.

    The clues:
    – Beautiful Mind and Clever Mind have the same mind yet one is B and the other is C.
    – 570564 + 1 simply means just add one and you get the next tribe. If ABC is 123, 2+1=3; B+1=C.
    – 570565 = 570565: same stickman images in both tribes; theyโ€™re similar but subtle (2 mirrored images per tribe); both 7 stickmen.
    – History: the name of the other guy again? John Nash, a math genius. You need to count.
    – Thomas Knoll: take a closer look at the images.
    – if you are from stone age, you donโ€™t know how to google Nash and Knoll.
    – donโ€™t print the screen; print the image (which you can scale) to see details.
    – intransitive verb: to practice wisdom?
    All the rest are self-explanatory like being blind prevents you from solving, etc.

    • Well, since maganda na sagot ni Jen I had to do a different approach since nauna na sya. I tried to find an easier approach. Since malayo sagot ko, I rest my case. ๐Ÿ™‚ Congrats Jen!

  20. ask ko lang po. what po kaylangan ko gawin? kasi ganito po yun. marami nga akong traffic pero wala naman nagkiclick ng ads.. T_T

  21. bs2 answer is: A and M
    THey are the only ones with 9 tribe members and if you put one in front of the other then you get a mirror image.
    1. 570565 = 570565 =The two images are mirror images
    2. These 2 are similar but subtle You have to do process of ilimanation
    3. If Thomas Knoll canโ€™t help, maybe others can
    4. History: What was the name of the other guy again?
    5. Intransitive Verb: To Practice W______ (ooops if I fill in the blank, itโ€™s spoon feeding!)
