2012 Movie: Prophetic Predictions and the Mayan Calendar Analysis

The 2012 movie is a very interesting film about the end of the world. As far as I can remember, the end of the world was predicted long ago, during the Bible Times. My mom said that the end of the world is near, my first teacher also said the same thing. Even prophets many many years ago also said the same thing. The end of the world can be tomorrow, the day after tomorrow, or a few weeks from now. But until now, the world did not end

The world will end anytime and we can’t stop it. Only God decides if he wants to end the world or not. Christians believe that the world will end once the good news or “God’s gospel” was preached all over the world. The end of the world will only occur if all people heard about God and the Bible. Theoretically, analytically and technically, the world will not end on December 21, 2012. If you’re a Christian and you believe in God and the Bible, you believe that no one can predict the end of the world, nobody knows, even the angels of the Lord doesn’t know when the world will end. Only God and God alone

What you’ve heard in the 2012 movie trailer that the Mayans, the Bible and the Prophets predicted the end of the world will be 2012, was wrong. The Bible clearly contradicts the Mayan Calendar and the their prediction is absolutely rubbish. Even the astronomer Phil Plait has stated very clearly that the Mayan calendar does not end in 2012 at all. The movie researchers and film producers just exaggerated what the Mayans predicted. The date December 21, 2012 represents an extremely close conjunction of the Winter Solstice Sun with the crossing point of the Equator of the Milky Way Galaxy and the path of the sun. This is an event that has been coming to resonance very slowly over thousands and thousands of years. It will come to resolution at exactly 11:11 AM (GMT + 0). But this is not the end, let’s say a tragic world phenomenon will occur, a great storm or a very strong earth quake will smite the entire world on that very day.

The truth is, the Mayan Calendar did not prophesy about the end of the world. Their calendar is just like our calendar that reaches the end of its cycle in 2012 and starts all over the next day. Same with our own modern day calendar, it ends on December 31 and starts again on January 1.

The Bible Code is completely different from the Mayan Calendar. It was never mentioned in the Bible and the Bible Code that the world will end on December 21, 2012. But there will the natural calamities or “acts of God” as they may say will occur. This is based on the book of Revelations.

Revelation 16:18 “No earthquake like it has ever occurred since man has been on earth.”
Revelation 16:21 “From the sky huge hailstones of about 100 pounds each fell upon men.”

Basically, the movie will end with a few survivors and it will be a new beginning for them. Billions will die and only a few will survive. When that day comes, where will you be? Others are thinking to stay in a space station, while others are taking the risk to see what’s the plan of God for them. Others don’t believe that this will happen, while others have strong faith that this will occur and only those who have faith will survive. When it’s your time, then it’s your time and there’s nothing you can do about it. If you don’t believe in God, the Mayans, and other supreme deities, it’s up to you. You decide what to believe or not. It’s your life and we have our free will to decide what we want to do or what we don’t want.

  2. 2012’s cutting-edge CGI special-effects technology combine with the campy failings of the worst of the 1950’s B-movies making for an unlikely comedy of disaster-epic proportions.

  3. I was so scared like ” End of the World” can’t believe but when i readed this i was so like “ohh” so now i don’t believe in the end of the world but i thought it would be true because so many people are talking about it and so. But anyway, now am i not afraid anymore that my kid couldn’t have 10 years, because he would fill 9 in 2012 so he couldn’t live a long life.
