Bears Are On Their Toughest Time This NFL Season

Among all the seasons that the Chicago Bears ever encountered, this could have been their toughest. In this season, they were not able to make it through Super Bowl XLV. They were defeated by the Green Bay Packers during the NFC championship game last week. Their quarterback Jay Cutler obtained a serious knee injury which has prevented him to play after the first series of third quarter of the game.

Because of this injury, he obtained numerous ridicules from Twitter and commentators questioning his toughness. He was defended by the team’s manager Jerry Angelo and his coach as well as his team mates. They all said that he is tough.

Then another sad incident struck the whole team just last Sunday when their Vice President Tim McCaskey died due to cancer. They announced his death just last Sunday. He has been fighting the disease for 17 months already. The McCaskey family says he was “as passionate, loyal, critical, analytical, committed and devoted a Bears fan as there ever was.” McCaskey served the team as VP since 2003 after a four-year, part-time affiliation with the club.

It’s just so sad that Bears undergo these things lately. Super Bowl XLV is really not for them this season. As to what Obama just said, hey will take revenge next season.

Super Bowl 2011 live stream updates can found in several sites in the internet for those who can’t make it to Arlington, Texas. Others may also tune in to Fox as they would be covering the entire event.
