Lost Season 6 Finale, also known as the last episode of Lost since it started last 2004, will finally end. Tonight, at 9:30 PM EST, ABC will broadcast the 2-hour final episode of Lost.
Tonight, our favorite TV series (or perhaps the World’s favorite TV series) will soon end. This is a sad news to everyone, specially to those who have been following Lost since it began.
A lot of questions were already answered, and a lot of mysteries were already revealed. But there are still more mysteries that will remain a mystery until it will be swallowed by oblivion after Lost ends.
There are still so many questions that needs to be answered, but there’s no enough time for all of it to be answered. The extended 2-hour finale episode will surely never be enough to answer all the questions and to elucidate all the mysteries that we have in mind.
Intelligence of Lost made various hypotheses about its end
Speculations around the web and Lost fan sites are popping up randomly and simultaneously right now. Some critics said that our survivors in the island didn’t survive at all in the first place. All of them have died and their souls are just wandering in the island, as if they are still alive.
Everything that happened since Lost began are just imaginations of “literally” lost souls in the island. Jacob is also dead at the time he arrived in the Island and everyone else is dead. There are no survivors, everyone in the island are just fantasizing that they are alive and they need to get out of the island to continue their lives. The truth is, they were all dead, and this is how Lost will end, revealing that everyone has died 6 years ago since this TV series began.
Those are just speculations, there are so many predictions and insights about what will happen in the Season 6 finale episode. Others said that everything that happened in the island already happened, and it did really happen.
The Smoke Monster is an intelligent creation
Everybody said that the Smoke Monster is from the so-called “Light” in the island, shown in the episode entitled “Across the Sea”. And if one was thrown into that cave of light, he or she will become immortal and become a smoke monster.
Some think there were more than 1 smoke monster, some think that there’s only 1 smoke monster that shapeshifts from one look to another. What do you think? Is there only one monster? Or there are a lot of monsters? I think there’s only one and it uses dead bodies in the island so that it can look human. Just like when the Man in Black died, the smoke used MIB’s body to become MIB.
This is what a lot are saying about MIB. MIB is the smoke monster, and MIB’s mom is also a smoke monster, but if you carefully analyze all facts in the island, there is only one smoke monster that uses dead bodies in the island.
But that’s just me and others think, I hope the mystery about the smoke monster will really be revealed in the season ender.
The Smoke Monster is the most mysterious kind of object/spiritual entity/being that’s why I want to discuss more about it. But if the speculation about is right, that everything happened is just a fantasy of dead people, then the smoke monter’s mystery will be solved, and there’s nothing to be answered at all.
Everything will be answered in the final episode and Lost will be history.
Lost will never be lost
But one thing is for sure, Lost will never be forgotten, it will always be remembered. Everything about it will be missed. The the clues, the written script, the story, the mysteries, the plot, the searching, the characters, and most of all, the intelligence of the show.
There’s nothing close to it that asks you to ask so many questions or ties in so many cultural and literary references to play along with its viewers.
We all know that Lost is truly a huge accomplishment. Everyone was mesmerized by the amount of work that had to go into this show.
The historical and literary connections of Lost alone are all mind blowing and astounding. Everybody was amazed and everybody will never forget Lost since it began and became part of our lives since 2004.
To the cast, directors, writers, and everyone who is a part of Lost, congratulations to all of you. You made a successful fictional story that will truly be historic and will be remembered through ages and to the generations to come.

What a big fat Disappointment, they really dropped the ball on the last season of lost, they could of make a great ending, but no everyone died in the plane crash! But at least they are all happy and love each other!

Thank you ABC. For once the network thought of the fans and allowed Lost the time it needed for us to find the closure we all needed. I cried my eyes out but it was a glorious ending and although I am a mature Christian and do believe in the after life and the light I found peace for not only the characters I grew to love but was gently reminded I too will be with all my own loved ones one day.
Precious memories.
Blessings to all your writers and actors. You gave us so much and I want you to know how much you all are appreciated. Bless you all as you move on now in your careers. Be faithful and true to what you learned as part of the family of Lost and you will succeed.

Just watched from Cardiff, Wales.
Well what a big disappointment that was. So in this other “universe”, were they already dead then? Who was Jack’s son? If he didn’t exist before, how could he exist then, when they were already dead? And how could it be Juliette’s ….. since she wasn’t in the plane crash, so how the hell did she die? Considering she was recruited to the island in the first place. Did she die with the other Dharma’s?
Again, they didn’t answer or clear up a damn thing. For the original plot yes very good ending but what the hell with these flash sideways? It doesn’t make any sense.
I dont get how they could all be dead? its stupid ending and i hate it

Just finished watching it live in the UK, it started a 5 am over here!! Im soo tired lol. But yh was good..wasn’t expecting an ending like dat 2 be honest..i still need someone 2 kinda explain it to me..still a bit confused lol
nannaGinny67i, I have to disagree. I wish all the writers would die a slow and painful death. Cos watching that show for the last 7 years was was exactly that, slow and painful. I cant believe that they ended it with purgatory….. and not even that the island was purgatory, but the fact they all died on the island. Then the writers make up a “purgatory reality” to allow the characters to figure out that they died on the island. What about the smoke monster? time-travel? walts weird powers? lock being able to walk? Jacob? the man in black? the girl that came alive during the autopsy? why the psychic sent clairs baby to the island? the darma initiative? The fuckin list goes on and on…. To add a daft religious concept into a show at the last season to fill in the gaps is like using shit as poly-filler and smearing it everywhere. As a mature christian you should realize that JESUS never mentioned an after life to anyone, and he never intended to make a cult. He preached heaven is on earth and to get access all you have to do is have compassion for others….. not fill them with lies about a fuzzy warm place that we all go when we die, so it’s ok to be a lying cheating pedophilic son of a bitch while selling golden seats in this magical place. See if there was a GOD, he wouldn’t have invented the ROMAN CULT, and then the only tv show I’ve watched for the last 7 years wouldn’t have ended so tragically. They could have wrapped that up in one season….. ONE SEASON!!!! Sorry you got in the way of that, but i’m full of piss and vinegar after the finale

Well I had that coined since like season 3 was pretty obv it was purgatory, not too blow my own trumpet or anything. Twas a good ending but i do agree that most of season 6 was pretty S**t.
The flash things were in the future after they all finally passed away. Some died on the island, some died after the island. The flash was a place between our life and where ever you end up. At one point Hurley talks to Ben and says you were a great number 2, and he replies you were a great number one. this means they carried on living on the island. The Flash place was a way they could meet up and say good bye to each other. I need to watch again just in case i missed something. Shame its over
okai, i have mixed emotions towards the ending, basically because i never wanted it to end lol. What im just abit confused about, is why wasn’t all the main characters in the church in the end? (e.g Walt,Micheal and Aaron)? Theres too many questions unanswered to end it all here. Im confussed?
