I have another online account at a new online community called zMoGo!

This is not another PPC site or a make money online website. It’s a newly established community for web developers, web designers, and internet marketers. It’s an all-in-one online community wherein you can blog, post a free advertisement, create your online profile, and do a lot of stuff just like what you are doing with your MySpace, Facebook or Friendster account. These keywords are examples of high-trend, not-so-low-dense keyword, and a high-trend, high density keyword. If your curious why it’s not low dense, but not-so-low dense, it’s just that it’s low, but not as low as other low density keywords. That’s why, it’s not-so-low-dense. Hehehe. (Gulo no?) (more…)

ReviewMe Scam!

Tuesday, January 22nd, 2008

Ok, I know that ReviewMe is a genuine company. Giving great opportunity to bloggers to review products and services at a high price. I also earned a lot from ReviewMe, but, unfortunately, they scammed me today.<

One of my review offers was about “Hannah Montana Tickets”. I reviewed it on my other blog, then I waited for 2 days to see if it was approved or rejected. But sadly, it was rejected! Why it was rejected? Because they scammed me and let me write a wrong review about that product, they said, that the review should be about “Jonas Brother Tickets” NOT “Hannah Montana Tickets”. But at first, they posted Hannah Montana Tickets, then changed it in stealth to Jonas Brothers Tickets. It’s so unethical, right? who will not be annoyed about it? For instance, they will ask you to review about MAC, then suddenly, they changed it to PC before deciding to approve or reject your review. The day after you accepted and reviewed their offer, you are so excited to check your ReviewMe account. You login, and see if your review was approved or not, then you’ll just realize that it was rejected because, it’s all about PC, not about MAC!!! Sino bang di maiinis?? SINNOOOO???? Tapos sasabihan ka pang dapat PC ang nireview mo, hindi MAC! bullshit!

They didn’t even inform me why they changed it. It was “Hannah Montana Tickets” for two weeks in my campaigns tab, before I accepted the offer. I was even skeptical to accept it, because it was only $20.00. Why should I waste my time to review such a crap worth $20.00. But, I have no choice that day, but the accept that offer, because the rest of the review offers suck. It’s all about the cas___ thing that can be one of the reasons for my site to get penalized by Big G. Kainis talaga! Grrrrrrrr… Hannah Montana, tapos naging Jonas Brothers bago nila ni reject??? Sinabi pa nila na: ” This has nothing to do with Hannah Montana! This is supposed to be about the Jonas Brothers.” O c’mon.. ang kapal niyo! Kahapon lang Hannah Montana yan, ngayon Jonas Brothers na? Maglokohan nalang tayo ReviewMe! Sue you! Damn!!! (Pero mag rereview parin ako.. nainis lang ako kasi di ko sila dinadaya, tapos ganito ginawa nila sa akin.. grrrrrr…)

ReviewMe Review Rejected, because it should not be Hannah Montana? Pwede pala yun palitan????

Smart Bro Sucks!

WARNING BEFORE READING THIS POST: There of hundreds of wrong tenses and grammatical errors below, and on this sentence, because there’s a lot, I swear! (huh?) hehe… *ang gulo no?*

I know these words or can I say phrase? was circulating all over the internet, covering the 1st page of SERPs for the keyword “Smart Bro”. If you’re looking for Smart Bro reviews before applying for a Smart Broadband connection, you probably have landed to several blogs and forums and read a lot of negative reviews from 99% of unsatisfied Smart Bro subscribers nationwide. Complaining, complaining and complaining because of the super high-speed connection that Smart Bro provides them. Well, I’m not complaining, because I love smart, I don’t have a high-speed broadband connection, only a putol putol connection, and I love it because it keeps me awake, and wait for Smart Bro to reconnect again. If it’s disconnected, I’ll just click diagnose, and windows will detect what’s the error, if windows cannot detect the error, I’ll click diagnose again, until my Smart Bro will come back to life for minutes, and again, it will eventually be disconnected, so what I do is execute that “diagnose” routine again, then I’ll go back online, then offline, then online again. Was that amazing??? hehehe… :)

My Smart Bro connection fluctuates happily, and I’m so satisfied for its performance. And oh… I would like to say again that I’m not complaining about Smart Bro, actually I would like to commend them for their excellent service! If you’re curious why my post title was “Smart Bro Sucks”, it’s purely ironic, I just want to get some traffic for people who were searching for Smart Bro negative reviews, that’s why my post title was “Smart Bro Sucks”, but they don’t suck, they RULE! They are the best broadband connection that was available here in the Philippines! (My next post would probably be how to pay Smart Bro bills via BPI Express Online, kasi wala pang blogs sa SERPs, just saw it in an old forum.)

Want to know more why Smart Bro Sucks? Then read this post!

Are you using SMART Broken? And you can’t connect to the Internet? If so, you can try these tips from Kate (One of our commentators):

FIRST TIP: Check your IP Address (Smart Bro’s IP address is in the series of 192)
Your IP should not be static.

For 192 series who can’t connect to the internet or browse any website:
1. Open the command prompt and have a ping test;
1A. ping test for gateway: 10.0.0.1
1B. ping test for wireless gateway: 192.168.224.1
2. Check the proxy settings: All of the boxes should have no check.
3. Clear all private data (e.g.: cookies, files, browsing history)

If you still can’t connect to the internet try these:
» Restart your PC and unplug the POE/Motorola adaptor for about 30 seconds, then plug it back.
» Check your IP and try to browse if it works.

SECOND TIP: If your IP address is on series 169:
1. Disable/Enable LAN
2. If your IP is still in 169 series, restart your PC and unplug/plug POE/Motorola adaptor for about 30seconds.
3. Check the IP address
4. Check the cable if it’s properly connected
5. Check the proxy settings
6. Try to browse again.

If you’re so tired in doing those stuff again and again and still you can’t connect to the internet call Smart Bro’s Hotline at *1888 so that Smart Bro can check the parameters of your antenna from the Base Station.

Have patience, don’t be mad about the service. These are just machines built by human hands so it’s not perfect same as human beings. Simple but it makes sense.

If you still have concerns, just make a follow up about it by calling Smart Bro’s Hotline at *1888.

Peace! :)

Restaurants in Trinoma

Saturday, January 12th, 2008

Okey, I’ll be rating all of the Restos in Trinoma. These are based on my experience during the Trinoma Bloggers’ Food Tour, and also my co-bloggers’ terrible and wonderful experiences during the event.

  Breadtalk
“i am underwhelmed…” - Andrew dela Serna
  Congo Grill
To be updated
  Conti’s
And so, can you imagine that I’m still excited when we’ve come to this part of the tour, even if I’ve eaten Conti’s food several times already? Well, you should because, really, I was THAT excited! - Tess Termulo
  Bacolod Chicken Inasal
Our bad experience at Cabalen didn’t spoil the tour though because there are much better restaurants within the area. I will no forget the generousness of people from Bacolod Chicken Inasal. - Edarevalo.net
  Bangus
To be updated…
  Giligan’s Island
To be updated…
  Heaven ‘n Eggs
Pancake. That’s hot(cake)! - Jonas
  Kamay Kainan
To be updated…
  La Mesa Grill
To be updated…
  Mangan
All I could remember was their HEAVENLY SISIG. (and oh! their bibinka!) - Janmania
  Mann Hann
I highly recommend their shrimp rolls! Grabe super duper extreme sa SARAP, tatlo nga nakuha ko (shhhhh.. sorry for those who haven’t tasted it, haha), I couldn’t resist kasi. It’s so yummy, and tasty, it’s just like a fresh from-the-water shrimps rolled in a roll? (oh, so what do you call that roll thing? hehe). As in super sarap! Did I say SUPER SARAP? hehe.. If I where to choose what’s the best restaurant that served the best food during the Trinoma bloggers food tour, I’ll definitely, without a doubt, recommend Mann Hann! - Jehzeel Laurente
  Marina Seafood Grill
Oyster!!!! Go lang ako sa fresh and baked oyster, kebs na sa noodles and chicken that they prepared. I wanted to have a “take two” sana kaso nakakahiya marami pang bloggers na naglilibot. - Nherz14
  Oki Oki
Oki-Oki served an entire spread with drinks included. As the name would suggest, the restaurant is a upscaled version of mainstream Japanese restaurants like Yoshinoya and Tokyo Tokyo. Instead of further pushing Japanese dishes to the mainstream - like how Tokyo Tokyo glorifies breaded pork chop to Tonkatsu — Oki Oki pushes the envelope by putting an eclectic and sometimes unthinkable twist to traditional Japanese food.
- Benj Espina
  Pho Hoa
sabi ng manager mag hati hati na lang sa isang platong salad kasi pang pika pika lang.. sabi ko naman, nakakaumay ang salad nila..
-
Kingdaddyrich
  Sizzlin’ Pepper Steak
We were already bursting with a delicious mix of chicken and greens salad splashed with fruits like mangoes and grapes, an awesome bun-less sizzling burger combo with the half-pound patty, coleslaw, tomatoes and matching marinara dip, and the signature Sizzling Pepper Steak dish, served piping hot with steam rising from the sizzling plate, half-cooked steak (which starts to fully transform from a tender red to a scrumptious brown right before your eyes!) and wonderfully mixed vegetable rice. We asked what the ‘damage’ would be should one decide to dine in, and not surprisingly enough, their dishes were well within the 200 peso range—perfect for a pair looking to score a delicious meal!
- Ignatius Javellana
Super Bowl of China Their Lemon Fish Fillet Chicken (not sure if that’s the name) was delicious! Oh, and did you know that the fish they used was from Vietnam and was raised in a fish pen? I bet you did not know that they are not bottom-feeders as well, which eliminates the soily taste fishes normally have. I don’t know what soil tastes like though, so I didn’t know the difference. (I kinda forgot if I ate fish in Super Bowl. May fish ba dun?) - Jhed
  Teriyaki Boy
I love their SUSHI :) - Jehzeel Laurente
  Cabalen
I felt like I was dirt. I felt like a beggar being shooed away and told that beggars can’t be choosers. I am not a beggar as I’m sure the other bloggers aren’t. Parang tinapakan at inginudngod sa putik ang aking pagkatao - AJ Matela
  Crustasia

  La Maison
I can’t judge the service based on a fleeting 10 minute experience but I felt like a queen when the manager of La Maison opened his arms to greet us and invite us inside their restaurant.
- Pinoy Food & Cooking
  Zong

  Abe
Food was superb. I especially liked the Rellenong Mais, a recipe of writer Thelma San Juan’s mother. Lumpiang pica-pica of Gilda Cordero Fernando, and a dish of binagoongan were also served (if I’m not mistaken). - Misteryosa
  Good Earth Tea Room
But when I tought everything was over, The GoodEarth approached our group and invited us for a round of unforgettable dining. Without time pressure and with complete meal and great ambiance, The GoodEarth made our day. - Bleue
  Hosseins Persian Kebab
Ohhh… the ambience and the setup was nice and pleasant. The food was even better. The chicken kebab was perfect with the tomato salsa and the homos, ehehe SCRUMPTIOUS. By this time around, my stomach was kind of heavy and was worried if I can still carry on… but like any brave fighter, I did not quit. - PsychCafe
  Haiku
very classy and sophisticated, not to mention exquisite Japanese dishes! This was the only restaurant at the tour that made me eat veggies without me complaining! (And they were very gracious enough to allow us to shoot a soon-to-be-viral video, watch out for it soon. lolz!) - AJ Matela
  The Madison Grill
As far as I am concerned, modesty, courtesy and all signs of civilization aside, we were out there for food. But it appeared that Madison Grill wasn’t prepared for our coming. They didn’t know what to do, they kept on talking in the background, which left me asking myself why they even confirmed participation at all. After a few minutes the chef came out and oriented us on the concept of the restaurant. In fairness to Madison Grill, their restaurant concept was nice, especially the do-it-yourself pizza bar and the huge pizza oven which was outside the kitchen. And in fairness to the chef, he was very accommodating even if he didn’t let us taste anything.
- Blue Pencil Chronicles
  Bubba Gump
Bubbagump performed the best in the Bloggers Food Tour: Best Food Presentation, Best Customer Service (the friendliest bunch of resto staff, I’d say), and Best-Tasting Food. - Prudence and Madness
  Cyma
The dishes at Cyma are meant for sharing. While many of the food items come in ’solo’ and ‘for sharing’ sizes, even the ’solo’ dishes have enough food good for two (along those lines, ‘for sharing’ can easily satisfy four or five). Cyma dishes actually work best in bigger groups- since everyone gets to share food around the table- the same way Greek families do.
- Renzie
  Fish & Co.
Fish & Co. was just a walk away, but then I was feeling heavier. Every step strained my calf muscles with all the additional weight. (Breath in, breathe out.) They had fish fillet and mussels to be served, and yet I couldn’t get over the nets and the life preserver on display by the table. I liked how the presentation looked, it’s as if the flavors made their way into land … into our mouths, or how, if ever I was at sea, Fish & Co would feed me, while the life preserver would keep me afloat! The fish fillet was accompanied by lemon butter, providing a delicious, tangy alternative to ketchup, hehe. - Hrudu
  Holy Cow Chops House
“Geez, they know my weakness. They know how to fulfill my sweet and sinful desire. Oh, do you know that I ended up finishing 3 slices of the cheesecake last night? Ahahaha” - Byahilo
  Italliani’s
I’ve eaten there lots of times before but never tried the pasta the Trinoma branch had us taste. I’m sorry I forgot what it’s called. I asked the lady there a dozen times but I still ended up forgetting. Bad memory. Anyway, I liked the pasta so much. I’ll get that when I go to Italiani’s next time.
- Dementia
  Jack’s Loft

  TGI Fridays
One of the best interiors. Tons of LCD tv’s, very modern design. I think this is one of the most modern and best designed fridays. ;) A must try.
- Alvin Chua

If you encountered this error in Photoshop CS3, and you’re here because you’re looking for a solution to fix this error, and… Ahmmm? (Yun lang siguro. bwahahehehe). Oh my, I was confused, and now I don’t know what to write next. :)Let’s get to the main point why I am blogging about this Adobe Photoshop error. I googled about it, and I have found out that others encountered this sort of problem after installing Photoshop CS3, others also encountered the same problem after installing new fonts that are bugged, or should I say “erroneous fonts” or a font that is not compatible with your PC, or a font that was bugged, or a bugged font. Hehehe..

Forgive me because I don’t know what’s the appropriate terminology to use.I’ve been using Photoshop CS3 for quite a long time now. I have never ever encountered this error after installing Photoshop, and I have never installed a new font before experiencing this kind of error. But I’m glad that I’m not the only one who encountered this sort of “error” (redundant na ba? error error error grrrrrrrr…), because I’m not the only one (hehe), and my post title above are present in Google SERPs. Yiheeeeeee! So how did I fix this error? Just google about it and you’ll know, nyahahaha!

P.S.: Seriously, just re install the fonts, and you’ll fix this error in no time ;)

ASUS EEE PC 701 Review

Thursday, December 6th, 2007

I don’t own this cool gadget, but I’ve experienced to play around with it, just like having one, because I’m always bringing it with me. It’s from my work actually, but I can bring it wherever I want.

Karlo of Pinoyblogero.com asked me to make a review of this very hot laptop that he was dying to have, that’s why I’m creating this post, just for him :P hehehe.. and syempre to those who are interested to have an ASUS Eee PC, this review is for you na rin.

It’s the best value-priced notebook on the planet for me, because of its super cute size and stylish design, its friendly user interface (that offers only six easy-to-understand options: Internet, Work, Learn, Play, Settings, and Favorites), it’s very lightweight, and it’s so cheap.
It can’t even occupy the entire space of my small black sling bag, and it’s very unnoticeable that you’re bringing a laptop with you. It’s semi-snatch proof (because snatchers will not notice that you’re bringing a cool and powerful gadget inside your bag, Hehehe… ) My boss bought it for only 18,000.00 Pesos, but I saw this in one of the stores inside the Mall of Asia, and it’s even cheaper, it’s only 17,499.00 in.. ahmm? I forgot the dealer who sells this stuff (just go there, and check all the PC dealers one by one, I’m sure you’ll find it in no time :P)

I don’t have an actual photo of this laptop, but there’s a lot in the web. Just google it, and you’ll find it in every corner of the search results :P But, I have a sample photo taken by this laptop from its webcam.
Clear naman diba? It’s a picture of (from left) Kuya Andrew, Me, and his cousin Tinky in Starbucks outside Glorietta 3. It only has 0.3 megapixels, too small no? Pero, it’s kinda okey naman…

For the specs, it has a 900-MHz Intel Celeron Processor, Asus Xandros-based Linux operating system (but you can install Windows XP if you want, it’s in the manual), 512 MB RAM (it’s upgradeable to 1GIG, or 2GIG yata, pero not sure about the 2GIG upgrade), 4GIG flash drive (eto ang ayaw ko dito, masyadong maliit ang storage. But not bad if you’ll just use it for blogging, browsing, twittering, chatting, and other stuff that you can think about and it will not consume any storage, and oh… about the 4GIG storage, you can only use 1GIG of it, because the system already occupied 75% of its entire memory, so there’s no room for large files like mp3s, mp4s, and you know the rest… You can use an external hard drive if you want a large file storage, I have tried it, and it works fast, this mini gadget can read and open all the files stored in a 250 gig hard drive [even more] as nimble as a PC with Quad-Core processor, hehe.. indeed, it’s really fast, I tell you…), 7 inches/800 x 480 resolution, 64MB video memory, 802.11b/g wireless networking, ( I have tried also to use its wireless internet, in free WiFi zones here in Manila, such as Robinsons Mall, TGI Fridays in Glorietta, and paid hotspots, such as Glorietta 1, 2, 3, and 4, Greenbelt 1 to 5, Starbucks Ayala, RCBC, and all Globequest WIZ hotspots. Its wireless network was incredibly fast, I can do live blogging, twittering, and other stuff that I’m addicted to, just like I’m using a PC with a T3 internet connection, whoaw! that is really fast no? bwahehehe… . I just hope that WiFi hotspots here in Manila are free like the WiFi in Davao.), three USB 2.0, ethernet, modem, headphone, and mic ports, SD/MMC card slots, its size was 8.9 x 6.5 x 1.4 inches, and weighing only 2 pounds. For the video pala, you don’t need to download such crappy DivX plugins to play DivX videos, lahat built it na! wala ka nang hahanapin pa :P and.. for the powerful IE browser (nahhh, just joking, it’s FF, katakot no pag IE? hehe.. ), you don’t need to install plugins such as Adobe Flash Player, Quick Time, Java Runtime Environment, Quicktime Player, and Real Time Player, because it’s all pre-installed. For the Messenger, Skype and Pidgin Messenger (it’s an all in one messenger for AIM, Google Talk, Groupwise, ICQ, IRC, MSN, QQ, SIMPLE, Sametime, XMPP, and Yahoo) are already installed. For the other features, just buy one, to experience its full power! Rawrr!!!

Overall performance was pretty snappy, even though its processor is only Celeron. All apps load fast, and you won’t regret in buying it because it’s ahmm.. basta yun na yun! nyahehe.. ^_^ Thanks for your time reading my quick and mini review :P

I Only Have 1 Valid ID, Western Union Needs 2

Wednesday, December 5th, 2007

Western Union Logo

Western Union needs two valid IDs in order for you to claim the money transferred to you. However there were some branches here in Manila that accepts only 1 valid ID. But before that, I would like to share a very short story of my experience in claiming a small amount sent to me through WU. I was pissed off at first when I tried to claim a “money transfer” from Western Union, M Lhuillier, Blumentritt Branch. They told me that they want two valid IDs. Too bad, I only had one: My SSS ID. I showed them two of my valid IDs which is my Social Security ID and Company ID. Sadly, they told me that they didn’t accept private company IDs. Only government issued company IDs are accepted by Western Union. Other valid IDs were: Postal, GSIS e-card, PRC, Passport, Voter’s, OFW, NBI Clearance, Driver’s License, School (provided with a registration form), and OWWA.

Other branches nearby Western Union ML didn’t accept my IDs (There are 3 branches in Blumentritt, Manila). Only SSS was valid. But I never lose hope, I went to other Western Union branches here in Manila, I tried almost all branches from each LRT station, but still, they didn’t accept my company ID. Even if I showed them my birth certificate, and 2 major credit cards, to prove that I’m really JEHZEEL H LAURENTE, they still didn’t believe me, because they must follow that damn rule! (I really wished to have my driver’s license, but I’m just too lazy to get one during my idle time.)

Finally, I arrived at the last LRT station: EDSA / TAFT. I saw my last hope, the Western Union RCPI. I went inside and showed my IDs: SSS and a non-government issued Company ID. The attendant accepted my IDs without any question.

So if you only have 1 ID, and you’re going to claim a “money transfer” from WU, I recommend Western Union EDSA Taft branch. That’s all for now.

P.S.: I also asked the attendant if they accept only 1 valid ID, she replied yes. Yey!

Need a web host with unmetered bandwidth?

Saturday, November 10th, 2007

If your web traffic is to high… if you always exceed your monthly allocated bandwidth… if you’re invariably having a headache due to your bandwidth limit and craving for a web host that offers unlimited bandwidth, then Gossimer.com is the right web hosting company for you! Gossimer is the only web hosting company that offers unmetered bandwidth so far. I have never seen such web hosting company that gives unmetered bandwidth, but I have seen a hosting company that offers unlimited disk space, but not bandwidth.

If I were to choose a hosting account that offers unlimited bandwidth or disk space [but you can only have 1 option], I would go for unlimited bandwidth rather than going for unlimited disk space. A bandwidth has a greater factor than a disk space, if your website has a very large amount of traffic. What’s the Best Antivirus Software?

Wednesday, October 31st, 2007

So if your here to look for an honest to goodness review about the BEST Antivirus software out there, you’ve come to the right place! I will be reviewing such programs that I have used so far, and conclude what’s the best software for me, based on my experience. I have tried Norton Antivirus, McAfee Antivirus, AVG Antivirus, NOD 32 Antivirus, Sophos Antivirus, Trend Micro Antivirus and Kaspersky Antivirus Software.

»AVG Antivirus, this is the first antivirus software that I have used, because it’s free. But it’s not that powerful compared to other programs available. It detects virus, but its virus database is not that vast. It cannot detect other trojans, worms, and other viruses that can be detected by other antivirus software mentioned above.

»Trend Micro Antivirus, this one is also a powerful Antivirus Software. It has a great firewall, but the adware blocker, and the anti-spam portion of this software is weak. Overall, it’s just an average antivirus software.

»Norton Antivirus, it’s the most prominent Antivirus software out there, that’s why many not-so-unaware guys recommend this one. If they hear the word “Norton”, they will just say, “Oh yeah, it’s reliable, powerful, and worth-the-bucks”. But it seems not that powerful for me. Ahmm? It’s always updated, it detects a lot of the latest known viruses, but it slows down your PC. It scans every file that you open, and it contributes to slow down your work :P

»McAfee Antivirus, it’s almost similar to Norton Antivirus. Its virus database is always updated, and can detect almost all kinds of known viruses out there. But, it eats a lot of RAM. It slows down your PC, and scans pretty slow. For me, it’s just another average Antivirus software.

»Sophos Antivirus, is not that popular, but it’s hidden powers are great. If you compare this to the two of the most popular Antivirus software in the world, McAfee and Norton, I would go for Sophos. It has an up-to-date virus database, and scans all your folders, it detects all viruses from tip to tip. But, if you compare this to NOD-32 and Kaspersky, it’s not that powerful to beat these two.

»NOD-32 Antivirus, is one of the best Antivirus software out there. It’s very light. It doesn’t slow down your system, and it’s very strict in detecting viruses, trojans and worms. It has an up-to-date virus database, and you can surely rely on this stuff. Keylogs, spywares, and even the latest virus out there can be detected by NOD-32. It’s above all antivirus programs available, except for Kaspersky, because I love Kaspersky more than NOD-32. It competes with Kaspersky, but it has a far way to go to defeat Kaspersky.

»Kaspersky Antivirus, the best Antivirus software invented by mankind. Naks!. For me, it’s the most reliable, fastest, and the most secure antivirus software that you can put your trust on. It can detect all kinds of viruses, compared to other popular antivirus programs. It’s very light and fast, and it won’t slow your computer a bit. It’s like you don’t have an antivirus software at all. If NOD-32 is the best antivirus software for you, this one is far way more better than it. I recommend this to all who are looking for the best and one-of-a-kind antivirus software. It’s really really really worth the bucks.

If you have a violent or kind reaction about my reviews, please don’t hesitate to leave me a comment. Hehehe.. That’s all. I hope you can find the best Antivirus software out there, because I already found one, and it’s Kaspersky! :)
