None of those tricks worked for me. I had to do open up synaptics package manager, and search for ttf-mscorefonts-installer, and mark it for reinstall. Viola, it works perfect.

All i did to get it working again was delete the files in this directory…

C:\Users\YOUR_USER_NAME\AppData\Local\Adobe\TypeSupport\CS5\

I use Windows 7 + PS CS3.
I also had to reboot into Safe Mode (F5) to be able to remove alot more of the fonts. Then I reinstalled again (just drag-n-drop them back to the Fonts folder).

it didnt work in cs4 It ried reinstalling the font from the cd

okay so i know what the problem font is and ive reinstalled it but still no luck, not to mention the font used to work but now it wont
