I have earned $6.66 for 1 day on Adsense!

Thursday, May 31st, 2007

Yesterday, I have earned $6.66 in Google Adsense! This is my highest 1 day income from Adsense so far. But today, as I checked my Adsense account, I have earned more than the mentioned amount! I really can’t believe that I have $7.28 for just 5 hours I think, and counting… I hope it will reach $10.00 before the day ends.. Hehehe.. I just do hope. My normal daily earnings was ranging from $0.20 to $1.00, my highest earning for 1 day was $3.00 before my $6.66 dollar income yesterday. Hehehe… That’s why I gone nuts! Whew! Now I know, Google Adsense is really fun, and a great way to earn while just staring in front of your computer, thinking of something to write, publish what you’ve wrote, and wait for your earnings to increase. It doubles, and triples day after day. So? click na! ng ano? ng alam niyo na… Kasi bawal po mag click, dapat kung mag click ka, taos puso ang pag click mo, at hindi sapilitan. Because Google can read your minds and hearts! Beware! hehehehe…

My Blog was Approved for PPP Direct!

Wednesday, May 30th, 2007

My PayPerPost account was approved today! (Isa nanamang pagkakakitaan na di ko alam kung kikita nga.. hehe). By the what is this PPP thing? PPP Direct is an exciting new way for you to make money from your blog by contracting directly with advertisers! PPP Direct allows you to keep more of the money per transaction than any other service out there! But the sad thing is, I still don’t know how this system works. Hmmm… I have clicked and tried to view their video tutorial, but it doesn’t play. So, I will just play with this stuff, and see how will PPP generate income for me, just like adsense. To those who are aware of how this system works, I hope you’ll leave me a comment ^__^. Good day!

Have you ever noticed?

That the Google Adsense loads pretty slow? and sometimes it doesn’t display any data. Or maybe, I’m the only one who have encountered this weird, or perhaps a technical malfunction of the Google Adsense system. It’s been one week, and I still do encountered the same problem, it doesn’t load fast, and sometimes it displays blank ads. I have checked my adsense account, and it seems like there’s no problem at all. But each and everytime I browse, my adsense displays only white space. Did you encountered the same problem? If not, I think I’m in the state of paranoia or maybe, I really do have a very bad connection speed, slower than dial-ups, heehee…

Chicken Burger without Patty?

Wednesday, May 23rd, 2007

Nainis talaga me kanina, walang patty ang American Extra Long Chicken Burger ng Burger King! It was my first time to eat a burger without a patty, only tomatoes, cheese, and that green leafy vegetable that I completely forgot what it is called… :(.

Yey!

My Application Was Approved! Yey!

Tuesday, May 22nd, 2007

My PhilWeaver Application at http://philweaver.net was approved in just a matter of minutes. I thought it will take 2 to 3 weeks for my application to be reviewed and accepted. But I was just accepted instantly, that’s why I’m so happy to be one of these great Filipino Web Designers and Developers! (Naks parang anong achievement no? Account registration lang pala.. hehehe). Pero, atleast may nagawa ako ngayon araw, kesa naman wala diba?

Check out my online profile at PhilWeavers Dot Net by clicking this direct link HERE. Tatlong website pa lang ang nandiyan, and I have no online portfolio yet, compared to other professional graphic designers and developers that are registered in the said website. You can find various talents in that site, andyan yung mga gumawa ng mga sikat na website dito sa Pilipinas (hehe). Just browse the online profiles one by one, and you can see different talents, fascinating works, and marami pang iba.

At pahabol, may bago ulit me online account, iba nanaman to, ngayon ko lang din to nakita, thanks to Helene for inviting me at Flixster! Kung movie addict ka, register na, and answer The Never-Ending Movie Quiz! You can also view my ugly Flixster profile here! Yan lang po for today… babush!

W3C Future Markup Validator

Monday, May 21st, 2007

Yipeeeeeeeeee! The new validator from W3C is now available for beta test! You can try it out here: http://validator-test.w3c.org I just found it today, because I haven’t visited the W3c validator service for more than a week, I think. I was surprised that this new service was available. But I think nothing’s new here, but the header and the page design, hehe. I just don’t know what did they update, and what’s the difference between the old validator and the beta validator. Maybe you wanna see how this new validator works. Just visit their site and validate your XHTML. What I’ve noticed is, after your XHTML is validated, and is valid, there are 2 W3C icons to choose from, compared to the old one, that you have no option, except to use the yellow one. Duhh.. you can make your own icon if you want to, there’s no big deal if there are two or three or more options of the W3C valid icon. Hehe.. anyway, that’s all for now. Just want to post something for people who are standards compliant. But for those who are not SC, this post is a trash :(

Negative Z-index on Firefox works! but…

Friday, May 18th, 2007

Hayyy.. another CSS issue for Firefox. The negative z-index of Firefox puts the z-indexed div below the body, and I hate it. It should be like IE that ignores the body’s z-index. I don’t know what will I do to replace this z-index thing on firefox. It’s just because 20% of my top header needs a white background that’s why I’m using z-index so that the logo of my site will not be covered with the white background in fixed position. I thought it works fine in all browsers, but in Firefox, it doesn’t really work as I thought it was. I also assumed that FF doesn’t support Z-index properly. I tried to set my logo’s z-index to 2 and the background to 1, but it doesn’t display as expected… Huhuhu.. I hope someone can post a comment regarding this, or a link to a solved issue regarding this bug or maybe it’s not a bug, I just don’t know what’s the right terminology for it. Hehe ^_^ I have googled about this issue, but I didn’t find any answer.

Wow Jehz! Great work so far!

Wednesday, May 16th, 2007

Weeeeee! I was commended by Sir George (My Boss) for another great work.. So far? It’s always been so far.. hehehe.. But it’s the 5th Great Work phrase from him. I’m so happy that my first and second web projects are now approved. My first web project was now live, and the second one is now ready to go live! The core php features are now working properly, the search, login / logout, browse resumes, accept job offers, apply to job offers, job alerts, job alert filtering and other features for a job site that was requested by my boss now works! They’ll just edit the site contents and will go live right away. I’m so happy, even if I’m just a newbie at PHP and MySQL web development, I have finished a working PHP powered website. With the help of UltraEdit, Photoshop, and the PHP 5 Unleashed book by John Coggeshall, I was able to finish this complex jobs site for my client.

Thru this accomplishment, they gave me a new job, and it’s their corporate website. Wow! another addition to my portfolio, and web portfolio (hopefully someday). I have given them a preview of their corporate website, and they like it so I was given the go signal to continue this new project. This is what my boss said: “Great work jehz! I like what I’m seeing…! please send me the codes, and please try to make it to ADEC either tomorrow or if not by Monday so we can get those codes and I can have the guys to start to edit ADEC Engineering Solutions, content wise…” and another follow up e-mail: “Let’s now finish the new ADEC Solutions look and I then have another website for you.”

Another website? Weeeeeeee! another portfolio content! hehe.. I hope I can finish this 4th website asap. I don’t have an idea what’s this, but I’m excited to do this one fast ^_^

A thumbnail preview of my 3 web projects:

A-Plus Chinese Learning Center:
XHTML, CSS, PHP, ActionScript, Javascript

ADEC Engineering Solutions:
XHTML, CSS, MySQL, PHP, AJAX, Javascript, XML

American Data Exchange Corporation:

Natural Science & Mathematics

Monday, May 14th, 2007

I have another design request, and I have finished it right away. My 38th T-shirt design, 2nd T-shirt Design for Ateneo de Davao University. For 1 hour and 46 minutes I have conceptualized at the same time made a layout and final design of NS & Math T-shirt. This is the preview of the T-shirt Design.

I really can’t figure out how to render a design in a light green background, (I usually create T-shirt designs in black, white, and other neutral color backgrounds) that’s why I tried several images and vector drawings to match up with the background color. I have tried to collage some science and math related images, (microscopes, test tubes, rulers, pen) but it doesn’t look good. I also did simple drawing of atoms, microscope, DNAs and other figures that is science-related, but I didn’t like the output. That’s why I scribbled my brush in random strokes to see what are the results of another chamba-chamba design (just like my AELEXS Front T-shirt Design that I accidentally distorted and forgot how I did it, haha!). That’s it! I made another design that doesn’t look very odd and it doesn’t suck so much (But still sucks for expert designer). For professional graphic artist and designers, I know this one will be graded 1 from the scale of 1 to 10, setting 10 as the highest rate. I’m not as good and as pro as other graphic designers. I’m just a newbie graphic artist, so please, don’t laugh at my work. I did my best, and that’s all I can do for now. I know there are so many Photoshop Wizards out there that will rate my work as poor and mediocre, just leave a comment if you want to criticize my work. :)

To the one who requested this design, you can download the PSD and Full JPG files here:

UltraEdit File Tab/Tabs Gone?

Saturday, May 12th, 2007

If your UltraEdit File Tab was gone or you accidentally closed it and you did’t know how to put it back then this post was for you. I also encountered this same dilemma before wherein I accidentally clicked the X button in the tabs toolbar resulting to the disappearance of my file tabs! I was shocked and was almost paranoid because I can’t find my good old file tabs! After checking all menu options, I found the magical file tab! Here it is!

It’s in View > View/Lists > Open File Tabs!
UltraEdit File Tab

I hope this helps…
