DDOS attacks and server migration update

Ooooh great I’m back! All old posts from the old dedicated server will be transferred here today. I still can’t access the old server because of the simultaneous DDOS attacks. When it’s over, I’ll be importing everything here, and will revert this theme to my original theme, or perhaps, change it to fresh new one. I haven’t decided yet whether to use a new one or stick to my good old theme.

Right now, I’m still waiting for the old server to go back up. It’s still inaccessible as of the moment. I can’t even access it using the private IP via SSH. Some of my database tables were corrupted, and some files were compromised because of the repetitive hacking attempts by some Chinese guys. Due to the fact tha decided to start from scratch and just import my recovered database and images to this new server.

This is not an April Fools’ day post

The third season of Walking dead has just ended. The third season of the Game of Thrones has just begun. Yep, I know this post is late. I should be posting this last March 31 (when TWDS3 ended and GOTS3 started), but I wasn’t able to finish it. This is not an April Fools’ day prank, nor a post about my favorite American TV series. Fujifilm X Series Cameras: XF1 and XE1

Last month marked the expiry of my uber extended blog events hiatus. After a noxious lengthy period of feeding on cold and stale food, existing within my minuscule rathouse of an apartment, and conversing with my only rational companion, Hp and Apple, I finally summoned all the energy in my emaciated body to free me from my self-imposed exile. I decided to take a walk around town and get some fresh air. And indeed, fresh air was what I got as my self-imposed exile ended with a visit to the product launching of FUJIFILM’s newest X series cameras. Continue reading

Life is like a box of chocolates

According to the soft-spoken manchild Forrest Gump, “life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you’re gonna get”. Indeed, life is full of surprises as we often hear one too many cases were the tides of life turns in just a snap of the finger—a healthy young man suddenly turns feeble and dysfunctional the next day. An attractive lady, famous for her impeccable looks, lost her beauty overnight in a bad accident. Life is unpredictable and uncertain and that is why it is important for us to be resilient and to have a contingency plan, especially in our finances. Continue reading

A year older now

Before September 12 ends, I would like to thank all my blog readers, returning visitors, strangers, stalkers, fans, and everyone who keeps on going back to this blog despite of the lack of updates. Thanks to all of you and thanks for keeping my blogging spirit alive. Haha! I’m too lazy and too not-in-the-mood to blog. But I want everyone to know that I’m still here and I’m still alive.
